Well - - this is a very difficult one for me. I initially went to see Dr Granzow on the heels of having survived stage four metastatic breast cancer in 2008. His physicians assistant - I won't name names right now - - was absolutely utterly amazing and had the most generous, caring, empathetic, and knowledgeable way about her. She was truly remarkable. She was an angel and one with great experience. Dr Granzow, on the other hand, it was impossible to get a hold of - - I met with him once after waiting nearly 6 months - ludicrous - my husband and I had to trudge across country to Florida, where he lived (for tax reasons!!! Meaning paying little to none), and we went to an office which barely had two chairs in it and had not even been set up yet. He's known in the industry for advertising his way up to the top of every list And as " nice" as he seemed to be, the Insurance situation was out of control and he not take my amazing insurances - - we'll get into that at some other time - - it took forever and ever and ever to try to figure out a way to get the surgery done. I was flipped out from my arm blowing up after living for 12 years with a perfectly normal one. And whereas this is not his fault at all, and I would never say such a thing, his office made it so difficult to get help that I just was freaked out every single week. The trip to Florida was completely insane and cost us close to $10,000 when it was all said and done, and when we saw his office, which was underneath the bridge and in a dump of a neighborhood on the edge of the border of Florida and points north, (I could almost put 1 foot in Florida and 1 foot in another state) so he could to do his taxes properly, again, I was horrified. Again - - the actual PT treatment for my arm by his nurse practitioner was magic. Everything else about the process was horrifying. Dr Granzow and his team are truly miraculous! I am extremely lucky to have them as my Lymphedema wizards! Thank you from my heart and soul: Dr Granzow, Julie Soderberg, Thao, Mariela, Kat, Yvette, Amy for all your hard work, professionalism, skills, passion for what you do, and compassion! I am one week post-op after SAPL surgery for my right leg and hip. Amazing results: the right leg is the size of the left one. For many people it is a given to have approximately the same size legs. For me for the last four years my right leg was twice as big as my left one. Not enough words to describe my experience, but I will try. I had endometrial cancer in 2009, total hysterectomy, 22 lymph nodes were removed. In 2010 had the first episode of swelling in my right leg. The swelling went down within a week. For the next five years I had swelling once in a while, but it subsided within a week or so. Unfortunately, I was not diagnosed till 2015, when swelling became persistent and I had the first bout of cellulitis. After 11 bouts of cellulitis, and 3 hospitalizations with blood sepsis, I was diagnosed with lymphedema stage 2+ in my right leg, and recommended to consider SAPL surgery that not only would decrease the volume of the leg, but also reduce the risk of recurrent cellulitis. I followed all conservative therapy methods since 2016: compression, MLD, bandaging. But none of these helped, because by that time I had a non-pitting stage of lymphedema. The quality of everyday life became lower and lower: losing mobility (difficult to walk, almost impossible to go up/down the stairs), recurrent cellulitis infections (11 bouts since 2015), constant fear of injury (insect bites, pet scratches, cuts/burns, etc.), fear of normal activities (walking, driving, cooking, swimming, traveling, etc.). And many more aspects like damaged self esteem, trying to find shoes that fit, avoiding social activities, etc. And then I found Dr Granzow and his team! And had SAPL surgery one week ago. I am on my recovery journey, and Dr Granzow's team is with me every step of the way! My special thanks to Julie Soderberg for taking care of me and my leg! I am a 2 time breast cancer survivor who has gone through multiple surgeries for reconstruction with several plastic surgeons. I was referred to Dr. Granzow by my previous plastic surgeon. He told me that Dr. Granzow was a skilled surgeon in performing the DIEP Breast Reconstruction. Dr. Granzow is a perfectionist when it comes to his work. These people, Dr. Granzow, Amy, Thao, Julie, Kat, Yvette, Mariella, are the best you will ever find if you need surgical intervention for lymphedema. I am recovering from SAPL and LVA surgery. Both of my legs were operated on in October. Endometrial cancer and subsequent lymph node dissection in 2014 caused my journey of many dangerous cellulitis infections and subsequent massive swelling that ultimately left me practically crippled, not to mention dragging a huge deformed limb around. Lymphedema destroyed my right limb from toe to hip. An ankle that was a spectacle, foot so big a shoe wouldn't fit, leg that required me to wear skirts and long dresses exclusively. The cellulitis infections, 9 total, worsened each time, with the last episode requiring emergency ambulance transport to the hospital. Dr. Granzow is genius smart, kind, compassionate, meticulous, safe, .. i could go on forever. Amy is an amazing advocate, Thao is WONDERFUL, Kat is awesome and Julie the lymphedema therapist is the BEST. I interviewed two surgeons before Dr. Granzow, one at Memorial Sloane Kettering and one at Johns Hopkins. I flew across the country for Dr. Granzow (who was always my first choice) and knew the second I met him & Thao that i wanted their team to be my team. Although I'm dealing with some lingering post surgical pain, i am SO HAPPY to have gotten SAPL & LVA and i now have a limb that is normal sized. It's functional. I hadn't seen my knee cap in two years and it's BACK!! This is a MIRACLE. I am beyond grateful that they took me as a patient. I had my breast done several years ago by a doctor that decided to give me what he wanted, not what I asked him for. I walked in asking for C's, let me tell you, I walked out with 500cc implants! I wasn't even close to a C and I had a uniboob. I am a small person with a small frame and those implant weighed a pound a piece, it was horrible and to boot, he promised to fix it in 9 months and when I went back to see him he was a complete jurk and he was mean. They say kids will be kids. One unfortunate morning, I heard a scream unlike any other. Within seconds, I found my four year old daughter with her ear split in half after trying to jump from our leather chair to the sofa. We rushed her to Little Company of Mary hospital and the ER docs all said to call in a plastic surgeon. One day, she will want to wear earrings or her hair up on her wedding day, best to try and make it look as good as it used to be. So we agreed. Dr. Granzow was paged and once he finally arrived, we knew we were in good hands. He was impeccable with us, sensing how scared we were to put our daughter under anesthesia. He spent a considerable amount of time ensuring certain stitches were done perfectly for the various layers of skin. He explained why he had to do certain stitches at certain parts, the curve of her ear provided a particular amount of skill to bring it back precisely etc. My daughter metabolized the anesthesia faster than the amount of spare drugs they had on hand. But that was no fault of Dr. Granzow per say...but it did cause us all a considerable amount of frustration every time she kept waking up in the middle of him stitching her. They had to keep running to the pharmacy to get more ketamine to knock her out again. Despite the stress of that, Dr Granzow kept calm and took control of the nurses and how much more drugs to bring into the room. He really showed a great bedside manner and at our follow up visit, he was just as great with us. We are very happy that we listened to the ER docs and that Dr. Granzow happened to be be the one to perform the surgery. Highly recommend him! read more

My review is towards Dr. Granzow's staff members. I can't stand such rude people. I had called to make an appointment for my mother. I was told that they were unavailable to take my call and that I would receive a call back later. I waited 22 hours, and when I didn't hear back, I called again to make sure they hadn't forgotten. The girl who answered was absolutely nasty and started giving me excuses that they were too busy to take the two minutes out of their time to call me back. She went on to say that they had intended to call me and when I asked when they were planning on calling, she was just being extremely stand offish. I didn't appreciate the attitude. I am trying to find someone to help my mother. But now I will not be bringing her in to visit the doctor if this is the expected service. read more

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Doctor, surgeon and friend. I met Dr. G 9 years ago. I have had 3 surgeries performed by Dr.G, in that time. All 3 surgeries he performed, have given me FANTASTIC results! He is the most caring and kind surgeon I have ever met. He spends all the time you need, for questions. He listens and is concerned for your well being. He makes you feel comfortable and no question is stupid or left unanswered. Shayla is wonderful. I can't rave enough about Dr. Jay, his expertise and his incredible office staff. Having had some very poor experiences (horror stories one in which was on National Television) with doctors in the past, it's so comforting to deal with someone as professional, kind, with A + bedside doctor manners like Dr. Jay. (He is also a REALLY cool guy). As a self proclaimed perfectionist, I have never met with a doctor who understands and sees things and than is able to point them out and explain in perfect detail like Dr. Jay has with out judgement. Feels great to meet with someone else who thinks like I do but isn't over the top or out to do anything that will change your appearance in a non natural or over exaggerated manner. His office staff Claudia in the front and Shayla his Manager are amazing gals. They make you feel so comfortable and special even going above and beyond to assure your satisfaction. Last year is was diagnosed with breast cancer, thought I would never look natural normal again. I was referred to Dr. Granzow by my Oncologist. She said he was the best and she was so right. Dr. Granzow is a totally awesome doctor. Not only is he extremely skilled in lymphatic surgery but shows so much caring and compassion for his patients. I suffered for almost twenty years from cancer surgery repercussions that caused me to have extreme lymphedema in my left leg. For twenty years, I could not go into a store and buy a pair of jeans, etc. that would fit and had to have my pants custom made. I had no hope for a normal leg but just learned to deal with it. Then, I heard of Dr. Granzow. This man, miraculously changed my life. During consultation he told me that he thought he could get my left leg down to the same size as my right leg. I had been thinking of getting botox and fillers for several years. Recently, I went to see Gretchen at Dr. Granzow's office for my first experience. Shayla started out my appointment asking me what I wanted to see and was very personable and made me at ease. Gretchen then did the same and really listened to me. This is important because what she was about to do will effect my face which is the first thing people see. Gretchen was patient, detailed, and gentle. I wanted to keep a portion of my wrinkles and lines as removing them all was not an option. Gretchen made me look refreshed, younger, and I feel more confident. I will be back again. As a breast cancer patient I had a double mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction done by Dr Granzow. He also did a lymph node transplant during that 14 hour surgery. Everytime I see someone wearing an arm sleeve or hand glove, I approach them and pass on the information that in most cases it can be helped with surgery. I had to wear a sleeve and glove and have physical therapy two or three times a week for about 9 months before I had the surgery. From the time I woke up after the surgery I have never worn a glove or sleeve again. Along with all the other reviewers here, I have to echo what an amazing doctor he is and how wonderful his entire staff is. I actually had 3 surgeries by him and could not have been more pleased. I recently visited my oncologist for a 6 month checkup (I'm fine). He and his PA have always said they can't believe how natural my breasts look. This time they elaborated further and said "We see a lot of women with breast reconstruction and most of them think they look great. However, they don't look anywhere near as good as you do". That is all due to Dr Granzow. Now, specifically about Dr Granzow. He is kind, has a wonderful bedside manner and will spend as much time with you as you want. Once when I was in the hospital (LIttle Company of Mary in Torrance which I also highly recommend) he walked in to my room just ahead of a nurse who wanted to come in and take my vitals. When he finally left she came in and said "I can't believe how long he spends with his patients, longer than any other doctor in this hospital." I have been told by all the nurses in Pre-Op that they fight for the chance to work with him when they see he has surgeries scheduled. I went for my final visit with him less than a week before I went on Medicare insurance. As he was examining me he was saying, "I can lift this, clear up that scar, etc." I said, "Unfortunately, you don't get it. I will be on Medicare in less than a week, I know you don't accept that and I can't afford to pay, as much as I wish I could." With that he said, "Let me go talk to Shalya" and walked out of the exam room. Now, let me tell you about the fantastic Shayla. Dr Granzow asked her if she could schedule a surgery for me on such short notice, and like any sane person she said "No". She told me later he said, "Make it happen" and she did!!! This was on a Tuesday, and I had surgery that Friday. I was on Medicare the following Monday. Whew, just under the wire. I have talked to many breast cancer patients who have had surgery done by other doctors. They have had to work with their insurance companies to get approvals, schedule appointements for medical pre-approvals tests with doctors and hospitals. The marvelous Shayla does all that for you. All I had to do what show up where and when she told me. It could not have easier. I also have to give props to Yvette, in the front office. She is always warm, kind and helpful. There is one other person on Dr Granzow's team that you may or may not meet. That is Julie, the physical therapist who works with his patients that have lymphodema, as I did. Julie is a sweetheart. She is friendly and takes time to explain your situation and what you/she can do to help you. After my first surgery for the reconstruction and lymph transplant she was told by my sister that I would have to walk up 16 steps to get into my apartment. Julie came to the hospital on Sunday (not a work day for her) to work with me on walking stairs before I was released. Bottom line, I would recommend Dr Granzow and his entire staff 1,000% If you are a breast cancer patient, you could not possibly be in better hands. They all do everything possible to make a not so great situation as tolerable as possible. If you are a patient having esthetic surgery, as has been menioned my other reviewers, Dr Granzow is a perfectionist, and you will look as good a humanly possible. read more

Dr. Granzow is absolutely amazing. I had a couple cysts on neck/throat and he took immense care to get them out. He took a great deal of time to answer all of my questions and really cared about my well-being. The procedure should have only taken one hour, but Dr. Granzow took two, just because of how complicated my situation was. As a result, I healed up much faster and there is no sign of reoccurrence of my symptoms. I should have had a huge ugly scar on my neck, as the holes were quite massive, but Dr. Granzow took extra care in stitching me back up (hence the extra time on the procedure) as a result, I barely have a scar left and it look just as good as before the surgery. Dr. Granzow, Mychael, Julie and Shayla have completely changed my life. I have been working with them since I was 17, and have undergone six surgeries under their care. Now being 21, my leg has improved more than I could have ever imagined. Coming in to the first appointment with Dr Granzow, I was scared and hopeless, my right leg measuring 2 liters bigger in volume than my left. I left the appointment with anticipation and a glimpse at the long, but wonderful few years to come. My first surgery with Dr. Granzow, the SAPL, left me with a long recovery but determination and complete faith in him and his team. As one of the most challenging surgeries and patient cases Dr Granzow has experienced, we have grown to know each other very well and work together to overcome obstacles that we had not anticipated. Since the first surgery, I have had LVA 4 times, and a lymph node transfer. My last set of surgeries was last christmas, and leaving California was bittersweet. Dr. Granzow, Julie, Mychael, Shayla and the team have shaped my life and given me so much, that I can only hope to pay forward. As a young patient, the respect that I was given was unparalleled and I hope that they can continue to be a part of my lymphedema journey as well as touch the lives of many more as they did mine. Now, I am fully mobile, with my right leg smaller in volume than my left, and the size difference barely recognizable. I do yoga roughly 4 times a week, and have been working out regularly, continuously surprised by the progress I have made. I do not know how my life would be had I not had the opportunity to meet Dr. Granzow and have the surgeries. His team has become some of my strongest allies in my fight to a normal, healthy life. Eleven years ago I had a bilateral mastectomy. Over twenty lymph nodes were removed from the upper right side of body which led to chronic lymphedema in my right arm. My arm became so uncomfortably swollen and was under constant risk of cellulitis from infections due to the lack of fluid movement. From my first consultation for arm SAPL through post-surgery discharge, the communication, professionalism, and compassion experienced through my experience is unmatched in any of my previous medical procedures. Dr. Granzow and his support team operate so efficiently and seamlessly. Their interest in me and my wellbeing was extraordinary. For 24 years, I suffered with lymphedema and reoccurring cellulitis in my leg. I have always been very compliant with my garments and my MLD therapy, yet nothing I did could break down the hardness in my leg from the years of swelling. Each day, my leg ached and drained my energy, but I knew that it was a condition I would have forever and I accepted it. Just three months ago I heard about the work Dr. Granzow was doing. After five years of dealing with lymphedema in one leg following uterine cancer surgery and radiation treatments, I heard about Dr. Granzow from a friend. Before meeting him, I had not found any doctor who felt they knew enough to monitor this frustrating condition, much less to help improve it. At the time of my consultation, I was wearing full compression pantyhose and spending two to three hours every single day doing manual lymphatic drainage massage, split between first thing in the morning and last thing at night, trying to limit the amount of swelling. I would have a professional, expensive lymphatic drainage massage treatment roughly every six weeks. Even with that, my leg was slowly but surely continuing to enlarge and my range of motion was decreasing, as was my ability to control any of it with exercise. I also had cellulitis twice in the five years, a rapidly moving systemic infection. Dr. Granzow proposed a number of options and discussed them with me in great detail. He has studied and worked with surgeons all over the world, working to help patients with lymphedema. Now three years after the surgery, my leg and life continue to get better and better. I only need to do MLD occasionally, maybe every couple of months or after extremely warm days outdoors. If I wear compression hose, it is only on the one leg and the compression is not as high. I am able to exercise more and more comfortably, and that helps maintain and even decrease the degree of swelling as well as obviously being better for overall health. There have been no instances of cellulitis, which I attribute to the fact that the toxins and cellular "trash" are moving out of my leg much faster and more thoroughly. As a side note, it was not an easy thing to get direction or information about lymphedema from my oncologist, radiation doctor, or primary care doctor. I had noticed the first symptoms within a week of my surgery, but could not get a referral to the physical therapist to learn MLD for five months! There is more awareness now, but this is still not a commonly understood condition, and the feeling I got was that the doctors thought I should just accept that I have lymphedema and deal with its progression. Dr. Granzow was able to change that almost entirely, and my quality of life is much better. My insurance company covered the surgery, which was great, when I explained that this is not a common surgery, but it is certainly not experimental. It is rather rare because there are few surgeons as skilled, kind and patient as Dr. Granzow, but this general type of treatment has been done since the 80's for breast cancer lymphedema patients. I first met Dr. Jay Granzow very shortly after I was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer with lymph node involvement. I was very lucky to have gotten a referral from another extremely qualified surgeon who works on these cases with Dr. Granzow. I also was lucky because Dr. Granzow, though very busy, blocks time on his schedule for newly diagnosed patients. While hospitals and oncology offices may handle a cancer diagnosis like it's business as usual, Dr. Granzow and his staff understood my need to schedule surgery as quickly as possible. When we (my husband and I) first met Dr. Granzow, we didn't know what we were facing or whether or not I would come out alive. Dr. Granzow was looking far into the future, ensuring that his work in the initial surgery would be done in line with my specific desires for the outcome of future reconstructive surgery. At that juncture, when I was consumed with issues of life and death, it seemed a little bit silly to be worrying about my cleavage. I realize now how important it was to be concerned about issues of future appearance. After my hair fell out from chemo and my face got that cancer patient's sunken-eyed, hollow cheeked look to it, and my limbs were laden with fluid, I did not recognize the person in the mirror. Having had that experience, I now realize how important it is to be able to look in the mirror today and recognize the healthy, happy image in the mirror - and I'm really happy to have nice cleavage! Dr. Granzow spent an incredible amount of time answering questions at every stage of the process. He also asked really important questions about my preferences and listened carefully to the answers, using those responses to guide his surgical plan. Dr. Granzow is a leading surgeon, having trained around the world to be able to offer multiple surgical techniques. Usually, a patient ends up getting a surgical technique because that's the one the surgeon knows. In Dr. Granzow's case, he is able to offer patients an array of surgical techniques to address their individual reconstruction needs. After the initial surgery, and after all of my cancer treatments (chemo and radiation) were complete, I returned to Dr. Granzow to plan my reconstruction surgeries. I had developed lymphedema during cancer treatment and I showed up wearing a lymphedema sleeve. Dr. Granzow was - no exaggeration - more upset about the lymphedema than I was. I had no idea that I was sitting in the office of a surgical pioneer in the field of lymphedema surgery. Dr. Granzow performed an amazingly complex reconstruction surgery that basically moved my belly flab to my chest, and at the same time moved lymph nodes to my underarm. Every single surgeon I have mentioned this to told me that they didn't even know that a lymph node transfer was possible. Every single physician who has seen the results of my reconstruction, at every stage, has been very impressed by how good it looks. Dr. Granzow spent extra hours so that he could work through a small round incision, and then later he used that round area to build a new nipple. Bottom line, I don't look like I had two mastectomies and reconstruction, and I have no trouble showering in the locker room at the gym. And by the way, that nice cleavage came in handy when I celebrated my newfound health by spending more time at the beach this summer than in the previous ten years combined, and even took my first surfing lesson! Sometimes, we encounter doctors who didn't graduate at the tops of their classes, but they're really warm, nice people. Other times, we encounter doctors who are really good technicians but not so good with patients and nurses. It is rare to find a world class surgeon who is knowledgeable in both western and eastern medicine, is adored by the nurses, is accessible whenever his patients need him, and who also is a very understanding and considerate physician who treats the whole patient. I recently completed successful surgical treatment for Lymphedema with Dr. Jay Granzow, and I couldn't be more pleased. When I first met him a year and a half ago, I'd been living with increasingly problematic Upper Extremity Lymphedema as a result of breast cancer for over a decade. Despite good therapy and diligent self-care, my quality of life was going downhill. Being in my early sixties, it was clear that the discomfort, infection risks, and lost ability to pursue my career as a classical pianist would never improve with standard treatment, but would only deteriorate further. So, when I learned from my Lymphedema therapist about Dr. Granzow's reputation and pioneering work, I scheduled a consultation. After spending several months researching and having consultations with multiple doctors, I very wisely chose Dr. Jay Granzow as my surgeon. It has been 9 years since Dr Granzow performed my DIEP flap breast reconstruction. I will be forever grateful that my oncologist referred us to him. From the minute we met Dr G, my husband and I knew he was "our" surgeon. The time he devoted to us during that initial consultation was a true indication of the type of person he is. Dr. Granzow did my second stage DIEP flap breast reconstruction revision. I went to him to even out the boobs, make the right one larger to match the left one and to decrease the nipple/areola size (incision) to a smaller area. He did this by using liposuction to remove the fat around my hips and injecting that fat into both right and left boobs to even them out. He did simply a phenomenal job. He made me look so nice. The incisions were not bloody at all, the wounds healed super super well, and on top of that he fixed my belly button which i didn't even think he would. (it was an extra feature). For all ladies considering doing DIEP Flap breast reconstruction or just going for a touch up on their breast reconstruction surgeries or (anyone wanting plastic surgery done): please choose Dr. Granzow. He is very professional: he wrote down all my concerns and goals, he completely explained everything he was going to do, and he did simply an amazing job! usually the day after surgery, your whole body is in a bloody mess and you can't distinguish the results very well, but second day out of this surgery, i was able to tell that he did a fantastic job. A little over a year ago, I damaged my ear lobe after the large earring I was wearing in it was accidentally pulled tearing skin at the base of the piercing area. After months of progressive worsening, I had to forgo wearing earrings entirely due to the discomfort I experienced. I was afraid the hole would rip through in entirety! Wanting to be able to wear earrings to my upcoming wedding, I reached out to Dr. Granzow's office. His assistant, Shayla, responded to my inquiry extremely quickly & professionally, sneaking me in for a consult that very same week. Outstanding. I had extensive reconstructive surgery which included implant removal, lift and implants. At the same time I had fat removed from under my chin and lipo from my tummy and thighs. I interviewed 3 of the best plastic surgeons in Southern California and I selected Dr Jay Granzow to perform my 8 hour surgery. He is well trained, precise, has excellent technique and is very compansionate and kind. He has also done some botox and filler injections for me as well and the results are terrific. I am always complimented on how I look, it's not over the top, but I look refreshed and younger. I am 35 years old, and dealing with Lymphedema in my left leg for 18 years. This is actually quite difficult to do, because I find it difficult to even put into words the turmoil I have endured for half my life. I was given hope by so many people who said they could help me, only to be devastated when nothing they did improved my leg. I gave up all hope many years ago and have been plugging through life emotionally unsettled and feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. That is until the day I came accross a blog with the name Dr. Jay Granzow!! I have to admit I brushed his name aside at first, I had been let down too much. His name came to mind 2-3 years later and I decided to do more research. I read review after review that said he was the real deal. It was one review in particular that gave me the courage to put myself out there again. (Gail and Joel!!) I had a consultation with Dr.Granzow in October. He recommended I have what is called a "vacuum assisted lipectomy" This would remove the adipose tissue that had replaced the fluid that I had earlier on with my condition. This tissue does not respond to traditional therapy for Lymphedema. I had the surgery 3 weeks ago yesterday, and am in awe of the results! My leg is already reduced by 90%, and that is only 3 weeks post op!! Shayla is an expert in dealing with insurance company's and was there every step of the way! I sometimes emailed her daily and although I felt like a pest...She NEVER made me feel that way! Gretchen is Dr. Granzow's assistant, and took care of me in the hospital. I could not have asked for a more capable person! She is amazing and her and Dr. Granzow are an incredible team. I called Dr. Granzow's office 2 weeks ago after finding Dr Granzow was on the list in my network of preferred providers. I was told that Dr Granzow was not a contracted provider with UCH Choice Plus PPO. So I call United healthcare about my plan and United healthcare did inform me that Dr. Granzow is in fact a contracted preferred provider with my particular UHC health plan. Can anyone here advise me as to why there is a discrepancy between United healthcare records and Dr. Granzow's office? I would really like to schedule some surgeries with Dr. Granzow but I need somebody to confirm with your office as to why dr. was not listed in your records as an in network preferred provider. Dr. Granzow is truly amazing and I will gladly give Dr. Granzow a 5 star rating! I wish I could give him a higher rating because I think both he and his staff are outstanding in every aspect! I am a cervical cancer survivor and development lymphedema in my leg from all my cancer surgery and treatments. For 18 years I struggled to manage and maintain my lymphedema but was not successful. My lymphedema got worse and limited my daily activities. Until one day my PT told me about a doctor and the surgery he could do to help my lymphedema. I sought out Dr. Granzow and schedule my first appointment to see him. From the first minute I nervously walked into his office, I felt I was in good hands. Everyone in the office made me feel comfortable. Dr. Granzow took the time to examine me and explain what he could do to help me. From there I meet with several other people in his office that each explained all the next steps that would follow to more forward to my surgery. This first appointment was long but very informational. I knew exactly what to expect in the next few months before my surgery. I want to add that I have been in lots of doctor's offices but Dr. Granzow and his staff are the BEST! Not only are they each individually very friendly and helpful but they all work together well.
