Then they charge a $25 fee for "simple form preparation" that the office manager said is information like height and weight that the insurance carrier requests from the office. Laughable! The office manager NEVER returned one of my phone calls!! I just went directly into the office to tell her I had never received such awful customer service in my life. Also, there was a $150 fee to review blood work taken the day of the annual physical. There was absolutely no transparency with billing. Did I mention I never received an itemized bill?? There is no nurse. We also called one day when my husband was sick and they do not have any appts available for walk in sick visits. A Rx that was given to my husband in the past- the DR. prescribed 12 pills and then required office visits if he needed additional pills. This is a non narcotic pill that previous General Practitioners would allow refills throughout the year, as needed, between annual well visits. This place is rotten from top to bottom. Steer clear. Shady awful practice.

In Atlanta so I hung up with no contact with the office. As I got in the car for my drive I to the city I called again. I was on hold until I reached my destination for another hour and had to hang up. Later that afternoon I stopped by the office and made an appointment face to face at the front desk. I was given a new Dr. and told my doctor had retired a week or two ago. She seemed too young to retire so I found it interesting. That Dr. was good and I was happy with the service. Being on hold for 2 hrs is not acceptable and something is broken at Wellstar in my opinion.

About 15 years ago, I broke my ankle in three places and for some reason after I left the ER, they referred me to a orthopedic Doctor (Whom I would prefer not to mention their name because it was such a horrible experience. )He wanted to do surgery on me the very next day when I had so much swelling, there was no way it could've been done without problems . Dr John informed me and talked with me and explained everything that was necessary in order for me to have my surgery we waited a week. He did the surgery and I've had no problems with it since. I had a very good friend whom went to an orthopedic and she walks like a pirate unfortunately. Thank God, I left that orthopedic office in so much pain and went to Dr John and did such an amazing job that I barely had any swelling. it healed very quickly and he did it with one surgery. He always tries many other ways to deal with your foot issues other than trying to rush you into surgery like so many doctors do. I would never go to another podiatrist and I'm so grateful for him every day . He has always made me feel like I was his special patient.. I trust him completely and you would too. If you had experienced the things that I've been through . I can't say enough positive things about him. He is an amazing doctor and worth every minute of waiting,that is if you have to wait. i've never had to wait for very long and like I said if I did, it was worth every minute I highly recommend Dr John. ,He is so kind but mainly so intelligent and probably the best foot doctor you could possibly get. The office is run by the best customer service you can imagine they always get back to you and always seem to work you in even when I can't imagine how he would ever have enough time. We're about to have a baby, so i called them to see how long my whooping cough vaccine was good for and they had no record of my tetanus shot. They showed giving me a flu shot, rather than tetanus. Either they gave me the wrong shot and put me at risk for tetanus, or they dont know how to keep proper records. Either way, i'm done with them.

When my primary care physician left the area, I discovered that Dr. Jimmerson had a practice at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. I look forward to my semi-annual checkups because of his ability to actually listen to patients and to reflect on what they say. Last year, I injured my ribs and shoulder in a fall while on vacation. The local hospital completely misdiagnosed the extent of the injury. On returning home, I immediately went to see Dr. Jimmerson, who discovered that I actually had three broken ribs! She was a chatterbox while using the stethoscope, and then upon receiving my lab work results I discovered she failed to even place an order for Lipid panel, which should be a standard practice for someone in their 60's. Both she and the lab techs knew I was fasting for that purpose. She also did not order a urinalysis. Only did a metabolic panel, yet failed to include T4 and T3 tests for known thyroid condition. My answer at this time is: No, I do not wish to establish you as my primary care doctor.
