So I started looking and found this Piedmont Physicians group in my neighborhood. I picked Dr. Mininberg based purely from her picture and her bio, but it worked out well. Dr. Mininberg was very personable, with a bedside manner that immediately drew me in. She answered my questions and addressed my concerns without just dismissing even though they were probably nothing (and thankfully turned out to be so). She spent plenty of time talking with me, making sure that I understood what could be going on. When I got the results via email, they included a personal note to say that everything looked fine, but if I still felt off that she'd be happy to see me again.

I went in with what I thought was a shellfish allergy that had me breaking out in hives. Dr. Harper correctly diagnosed it as an allergic reaction not to shellfish, but to a medication I had been taking for over a year but had recently changed dosage on. Had I continued to take that med the reaction would very quickly have become serious. His practice is also very good about fitting you in for same or next day sick appointments, and responsive to question through Piedmont's MyChart system.

I was flabbergasted, and then she accused me of biting my nails and being stressed. (I had just had artificial nails removed). I was there for my medication refill which she replied "Oh I'll think about it." I immediately found a fantastic doctor. My pharmacy keeps getting medication requests for me from her, but the issue is, they do 90 days and I haven't seen her since last summer. She is not good at all. I want to take her off my Mycharts. I can't say she did anything wrong. Initially she wasn't very friendly but she warmed up over the course of the visit and took the time to explain what my earlier lab reports revealed. So I think she was OK. One thing that was unusual, there is a steroid drug that I take on occasion when I have a flareup of the condition. Every other doctor I've had has renewed my prescription for it without comment. She said she would refill it this time but I needed to see a specialist. I'm not sure why. I already saw a specialist initially who prescribed it several years ago, and it works. Maybe she's right and all the other doctors were wrong? Her front desk needs help. They were busy talking to each other rather than finding out the needs of the people in the waiting room.

That did not feel nice at all. In addition, I had a test result that came back with a problem, and I asked the doctor what needs to be done and instead I got the run around from the doctor saying that she has already answered my question. Her staff lies about letting me know that they sent a message on the My Chart stating that my appointment was cancelled when they had not. The front office people act like they hate being there, so they act unfriendly. I have left this practice and will NEVER recommend it to anyone else who cares about their health.

They over charge on small procedure's. I called the billing office and a rude lady couldn't even find me in the system, had to call back to get someone on the phone that knew what they were doing. Everyone I speak with sounds confused. This area is full of physician's, go to a nice place and don't get ripped off
