My husband and I were originally going to hang up peel and stick wallpaper on our nursery accent wall ourselves, but after doing more research we found out that peel and stick does not hold up well on "orange peel texture" walls. For those that don't know, peel and stick needs to be applied to smooth walls. The smoothing process involves skim coating, sanding, and priming. We debated on skipping the smoothing process to save some money, but I'm glad that Jaycob's Wallpapers was honest with me regarding longevity and showed me pictures of what peel and stick wallpaper looks like on textured walls. My husband and I didn't factor professional installation into our budget when we purchased the wallpaper, but I'm glad we went with them because they offered a fair price and were quick to schedule. Installation took 2 days (about 2-3 hours each day). The ladies who installed were prompt, friendly, and thorough. I also appreciated that they didn't leave a trace of mess behind!
