She is great at capturing the spirit of a moment, and that's why I decided to contract her to shoot photos on a Sunday morning at the church where I'm employed. I noticed our complete lack of good photos shortly after coming on staff and thought we would benefit from a bit of a branding facelift. Enter Brittany, who I knew from seeing her at countless Yelp Atlanta events. I floated the idea by her, and mentioned our price point. She quickly responded with an official estimate and we got the ball rolling. She was able to come out on a Sunday with relatively short notice, which was helpful for me, as I was hoping to have the photos in time to incorporate them into a print/web project going to print a few days later. Sure enough, after discussing a shot list and giving her a tour of the church buildings earlier in the week, she came bright and early on the Sunday morning in question and captured some amazing moments in Sunday school classes (usually not the most thrilling environment) and worship service. I was most impressed with her ability to convey the lightness and joy of the individuals in attendance through photos of people chatting, kids swinging on a playground, friends greeting each other, etc. The photos were delivered to me by end of day the Thursday following the Sunday in question (which was a super speedy turnaround time, especially given the nature of the photos). I was able to incorporate them into the big project I was working on, and have received numerous compliments on the photos. I also wanted to note that Brittany was shooting in several different environments-indoor with natural light, outdoor with fairly harsh natural light, indoor with fluorescent lighting, etc. All the photos look amazing, indicating her prowess in working under multiple conditions. All told, I know I couldn't have hoped for better photos (and personality) from a photographer, and feel confident that I will work with Brittany in the future, either personally or professionally.

Being an interior designer, I wanted a very particular style and look for our wedding photos. I didn't want staged photos, or photos that looked cheesy and fake. I wanted someone who would think outside the box and capture honest, candid moments throughout our wedding day. Joe was the very first vendor we selected, and it took snatching him up over a year in advance to make sure we could get on his books. From our first meeting at a local coffee shop, we knew he would be the perfect person to capture our day. We instantly felt like we were talking with an old friend, and felt very comfortable around him. He was always very professional during any of our meetings, and was always just a text away. He kept US on track most of the time! We scheduled an engagement shoot with him before our actual wedding day, and brainstormed doing something completely out of the box. We did the first ever "molasses ring shot" with Joe and it turned out incredible. The rest of the engagement shots were fabulous too, and he captured both of our personalities beautifully. Before the wedding, we discussed our shot list, and he was open to getting all of the shots we wanted (especially all my little DIY projects) and even made sure to write them all down. The day of our wedding, he was like a fly on the wall, and our guests barely noticed he was taking pictures. Becca, his right hand woman that day, was a life saver. My bridesmaid's bouquets ended up wilting and turning brown right before we were to walk down the aisle, and she rushed to gather all my aunts to fix the bouquets. She kept me calm through the whole ordeal, and made sure my dress looked fabulous as I walked down the aisle. She was so sweet gathering everyone for the family formal photos, and was so polite when she asked everyone to kindly hold their flash until Joe was finished taking his pictures. Not once did I feel rushed, pressured or stressed with them around... which is not typical of me AT ALL. I, hands down, without a doubt, recommend O'Studios Photography to any couple looking for someone to capture one of the most important days of their lives. You will not be disappointed. I hope to have them capture so many more of our special moments, and am so happy to have made 2 wonderful new friends in the process.

If you're looking for a true professional to do hair and makeup for your bridal party and/or special occasion, I can't recommend Scoobie and his team enough. They are A+. Scoobie was recommended to us by our wedding planner, Jordan Xu of Emily Jordan Events: https://www.yelp.com/biz/emily-jordan-events-atlanta. I also can't recommend Jordan and her team enough. They're outstanding. My wife, in conjunction with Jordan's advice, chose Scoobie over other recommended hair and makeup companies in Atlanta based primarily upon Scoobie and his team's ability to work with many different skin tones and hair types. The bridesmaids, groomswoman, and my mother-in-law's races/ethnicities ran the gamut: black, white, Chinese, and Indian. Scoobie and his team did excellent work with everyone. Everyone was happy. The total cost for the hair and makeup for my wife, her mom, six bridesmaids, and one groomswoman was $1,810. That consisted of a $200 deposit at the time the contract was signed, $225 for my wife's (bride's) hair, $225 for my wife's (bride's) makeup, $85 each for everyone else's hair, and $85 each for everyone else's makeup. The contract was signed and the deposit paid in October 2019, so we got 2019 pricing. Scoobie won't hold a date without a contract and deposit. Our wedding was originally scheduled for May 2020 and then the COVID-19 pandemic happened. We postponed our wedding from May 2020 to May 2021. Due to the unprecedented situation at the time, all of our wedding vendors, including Scoobie, did not charge us for postponing our wedding. My mom accompanied my wife (then-fiancee) to her trial with Scoobie in September 2020. The trial was included in the contract. I remember my wife looking amazing at dinner that night. After the trial, Scoobie personally contacted my wife to make sure she was happy with how she looked and to make sure it was what she really wanted. She really appreciated that. It really showed that Scoobie cared. Our wedding got delayed again, from May 2021 to April 2022. Understandably and like many of our vendors, Scoobie charged a $150 date change fee. Even though about 19 months passed between the trial and our wedding day, Scoobie's work on our wedding day was still impeccable. On our wedding day, I was in our suite at our hotel in Buckhead when Scoobie promptly arrived at the 9:00am appointment time. Shortly after, two of his teammates arrived. They got straight to work, moving furniture and setting up their workspaces with lights, makeup, tools, and accessories. I'd previously seen Scoobie's Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/scoobiewest/) and felt like I was in the presence of royalty with him and his team. After briefly meeting Scoobie and his team, I left the suite and didn't see my wife again until our First Look about eight hours later. My wife said Scoobie brought good vibes to the room. Again, the pictures speak for themselves. Scoobie and his team made my wife and everyone look so glamorous and beautiful. Simply incredible, flawless work. Five stars. Thank you, Scoobie!

We booked with him and received a complementary engagement session & he was willing to drive a bit to where we wanted to have our session. He spent WELL over an hour with us, made us feel super comfortable, and ultimately gave us pictures we thoroughly enjoyed. We chose the package that included the engagement photo shoot and a second photographer, which we highly recommend! Having the engagement photo shoot with Crystal allowed us to get to know her bubbly and warm personality and her style of photography as well as utilize those photos for our save the dates and website. Despite the odds (inclement weather and fast-approaching sunset), our engagement shoot photos were absolutely stunning and gave us all the confidence we needed (and more) that photos of our wedding day would be beautiful. Of course on our wedding day, Crystal performed! Her eye for poses, light, angles, etc is absolutely incredible. We were so impressed with the way in which she directed the shots to create the most beautiful photos we have ever seen. More importantly, I absolutely loved her style of photography, mixing artful candid shots with more traditional photographs, and her unique talent for capturing the emotion of her brides, grooms and parents, and the relationships between them. I spent several weeks searching for the right photographer, and found no one with photography more beautiful than Laura's. We were thrilled to find that she was available for our wedding! Knowing that we would spend a fair amount of time with the photographer on our wedding day, it was also important to me to find someone who would make the experience enjoyable to all those involved. Laura is kind, approachable, professional and a true joy to be around. She took the time to get to know me over the phone (as I live out of state). She was very receptive to my phone calls and emails, and extremely helpful in offering her suggestions to my questions about the photography, as well as other details about the wedding. On the big day, Laura and her assistant arrived early to catch the first moments of us getting ready. Patient and gracious, Laura took our last-minute rushing around in stride and managed to capture beautiful moments of that time. She took incredible candid shots during the ceremony, and afterward, quickly took the family portrait shots our parents were hoping to have. Laura effortlessly worked with all members of the wedding party, from the teary toddler flower girl, to the goofing-off groomsmen, to the parents of the bride and groom, taking amazing photographs of every step of the day. Although Laura took nearly a thousand photos that day (literally!), I was pleasantly surprised to find that very little of our time was spent posing for pictures. As a result, we were able to enjoy our guests and the reception. At sunset, Laura snuck away with me and the groom to take some shots against the sinking sun. This was a wonderful time for me and the groom to take a special moment to ourselves, and the pictures were among the most beautiful of the day. Laura stayed until the last song was played and we left the reception through a tunnel of guests and sparklers. She and her assistant worked tirelessly to capture every moment, while blending into the background and allowing us to fully enjoy each special moment of the day. The pictures she took were absolutely beautiful; her work was truly above my highest expectations. After the wedding, Laura stayed in close contact with me to make sure we were happy with all of the shots and the incredible slideshow she created for us.
