I spoke with several attorneys before making my decision, and from our very first phone call I could tell she was different. She did not rush the conversation or treat it like just another case, she listened carefully, understood the details of my situation, and provided thoughtful, practical advice right away. That first call lasted more than half an hour, and after it, I knew I wanted her to represent me. My divorce case was long and challenging, and Carolyn was exceptional throughout the entire process. She handled many responsibilities beyond what was expected and always remained solution-focused. At times, the mediator and the opposing attorney were difficult to work with, and there were even moments when it felt like she was doing more than her share just to keep the process moving forward. She was always accessible, I could reach her quickly whenever needed, we spent hours discussing important details, and she consistently responded to my emails in minutes. I was going through an extremely difficult time financially and emotionally, and Carolyn was incredibly supportive. Even during periods when I struggled to make payments, she continued to work hard and never pressured me. In fact, there were times when she first asked whether I was financially okay before even mentioning her fees. That says a lot about her character, she is not money-centered; she genuinely cares about her clients as people. There were moments when I shared my sadness and emotional struggles, and she was supportive like a friend and, at times, almost like a therapist. She guided me with honesty and professionalism, sometimes telling me things that were difficult to hear, but that honesty is exactly what makes her such an exceptional attorney. She does not sugarcoat reality; she is direct, logical, and always focused on achieving the best possible outcome. In the end, we were able to reach an agreement, and my divorce is now finalized. I truly owe this result in large part to Carolyn's dedication, intelligence, and steady guidance. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs not only a highly skilled and successful attorney, but also a genuinely kind and compassionate human being.

She drafted a prenup for my partner and I that we both felt really good about and helped us go through the process without losing our minds. :) She's friendly and curious and thoughtful to boot - it's nice to work with someone who's both very professionally competent and also kind.

From the very beginning, she didn't just handle my case, she held space for me. She took the time to understand the full story, the pain behind it, and the fear I was carrying after everything I had endured. Kim advocated for me with a strength I didn't always feel in myself. She kept me grounded when the process felt overwhelming, explained every step with care, and fought for my safety and peace with a level of dedication that made me feel genuinely protected. In moments where I could have fallen apart, she kept me steady. In moments where I doubted myself, she reminded me of my truth. And throughout the entire process, she treated me with compassion, patience, and respect, never once making me feel like "just another case." Because of her guidance, I felt prepared, supported, and emotionally stronger than when I started. I will forever be grateful for her work, her professionalism, and her heart. If you are going through something painful or complicated and need an attorney who truly cares, someone who will stand beside you with both courage and empathy, Kim is the one you want. She gave me back my sense of safety, and that is something I will never forget.

I cannot recommend Shelly Ingram. Throughout my divorce, I was fighting two battles: one against…read morethe opposing party and one against my own attorney's pressure to settle for less than I deserved. My experience was defined by two major failures in advocacy: Custody: Despite my children living with me after their mother moved out of the home, my attorney insisted I accept a 5/14 (every other weekend) schedule, claiming it was the Maryland standard. When I secured text evidence from my ex agreeing to 50/50, my attorney was hesitant to use it, stating "it might hold up in court." I ignored their advice, went to court, and the judge awarded 50/50 custody specifically citing the texts my attorney wanted to downplay. Financials: At our Pendente Lite (P&L) hearing, the judge ruled that no alimony was necessary for my ex. Despite this, when the opposing party asked for alimony again during asset division, my attorney pressured me constantly to pay it simply to reach a quick settlement. I had to act as my own advocate to stop this firm from giving away my parenting time and assets. If I had listened to their advice, I would be seeing my children significantly less and paying unnecessary support.

I was not out for blood from my now ex-husband, and wanted to preserve the relationship as best as I could for my child's sake. Mr. Randle reminded me of that along the way and I am glad he did. He would call me just to check on me (and did not bill me for those wellness check ups) and that made working with him all the better. I had an initial consult with Mrs. Randle on an employment matter and found a friend in her as well. Although I did not retain her or any other attorney, the advice and options she provided to me were helpful. It was refreshing to work with someone who was more interested in helping me than in collecting a retainer fee. I have read the other reviews and would agree that no one, including myself is perfect. However, I have had a solid, professional, friendly, and successful experience with this firm.
