I love this place. I had also never hear of this chain until moving to the DMV. They do require a…read moremembership for entry/purchases, but they run deals all the time for new members. This is where I buy my gas, toiletries, and large quantity items. The gas prices are always lower than the places nearby so that keeps me coming back. The lines for gas in the afternoon, evenings, and weekends are long so I tend to go early morning. When it comes to shopping in store I utilize and love the curbside pick up. Sometimes (often), it takes more than 10-15 minutes for my order to be brought to me. When I go inside I always take advantage of the express pay in the app. I assume a lot of folks don't know it exists or how to use it as the lines are usually long. The express pay in the app allows you to scan your items and pay on your phone without getting in a line to checkout. I actually wish all retailers would adopt this feature. Overall, I plan on continuing to shop with BJs. I will also continue to be an early morning shopper to avoid the crowds.
