I can solely speak on eyebrow waxing and threading as this is the only service I've ever come here for. Really great salon find in the Park Ridge area and I am THRILLED! I called in around 11am on a weekday and Alice was able to fit me in right away. She was very pleasant and kind and worked quickly. The salon was fairly empty but still full of energy. Plenty of chairs ready to zhuzh you up! I did both wax and threading since I'm partial to wax and she assured me threading is a great complement. I'm usually weary when it comes to threading because my skin is so sensitive but Alice wasn't kidding and she did a fantastic job! You can't beat the deal either! I had a good experience here before, but this past visit was strange. I was greeted by Alice who I had an appointment with. She is not very warm or welcoming and went straight into threading my brows. She worked really quickly in a way where she didn't even ask what my preference was. I exclusively go to Jazeh La Belle for eyebrow threading. I've seen many technicians and they all do a wonderful job. They listen to my needs and adjust accordingly. So for the skill, they'd get 5/5 stars. My issue is with their manipulation of the rewards system. I've been coming here for years and i know i have accumulated enough points to receive a free threading once in a blue moon. However, after i punch in my phone no and they see (and I see) that i have enough rewards, they immediately do something and all my points disappear. This happened on 2 separate occasions, last instance with the owner lady behind the desk. I'm disappointed in their behavior. I am not sure if this place is under new management but this last visit confirmed for me I will not be coming back here. I stopped coming here for a while as they constantly kept raising their prices. However, the new place I started going to was closed so I decided I would give Jazeh La Belle a 2nd chance and I ended up walking out before I even received any services just because of the terrible customer service and how rude the employee was. I walked in and I knew they were closing soon so I asked her if she had time to do an eyebrow wax. She responded with an attitude and said she could but that she has other customers before me, which obviously I saw the people sitting there and I wasn't expecting to skip over everyone and be first in line. I started walking to the benches that they have in the back when the seating at the front gets too full and she tells me to go sit at the front. There was already someone sitting there so I moved to the front and decided to stand and then she tells me that it's going to be 20-40 minutes before she gets to me so I asked if I can go sit in the back because I don't want to be sitting shoulder to shoulder with a stranger and she told me "no, you can sit there." So obviously I decided to just walk out because there was no need for the attitude and just based on that I clearly would not feel comfortable with her doing my eyebrows so what a waste of my time. Definitely will not be coming back here, trust me you can go to any other brow place and have your brows done for 1/2 the price. This place is nothing special, they just think they can upcharge because of the location and because they have a modern aesthetic. 10/10 would not recommend. read more

I was looking for new places in the area to go get eyebrow and lash services done because my esthetician had a last minute trip, and I needed to get my eyebrows waxed and have henna, and a lash lift with tint because I'm going on vacation. I came across this place, and the reviews were okay, and the place looked nice inside and had higher prices, so I thought the services must be worth it. I booked an appointment online for 10am eyebrow wax, henna, and eyelash lift & tint. I come in at 10:01am and the place just opened but the door is still locked and the lady comes opens it with a huge sigh, and doesn't reply back to me when I say hi good morning , and just asks what do I want done. I told her I have a 10am appointment for my 3 services, and she demanded I get a thread done instead of waxing because she said she just started to warm it up. I then told her I never got threading done and I only do wax, and she kept on going on how she thinks thread will be better because her wax wasn't ready... If you have a client coming in at 10am and you accepted the appointment for the service they requested you should be ready and set up. I agreed finally to the thread instead and she did it very fast and didn't give me a mirror to look at final product and didn't do the middle part or even touch them up after. She then brought me to another room to do my henna and eyelash lift & tint. She kept on sighing when my eyes started tearing up and was getting frustrated at me when she was putting on the eyelash lift, and told me "Stop crying" ... I wasn't crying & ofc my eyes water up when someone is constantly putting pressure on them and touching them. I have gotten eyelash lifts multiple times and had them water up and never gotten so much attitude or frustration from previous estheticians... It made me feel bad for something I couldn't control. She didn't speak much to me and kept leaving and not telling me any of the steps she is doing on me. At one point I heard a lady walk in and ask for her eyebrows to be threaded and she left me alone without letting me know she's gonna step out to do another client. She could have said I have to have the dye dry or anything to let me know, and asked if it's okay if she steps out mean time to take care of another client quickly... Anyways, she did my henna and she tried to blend the beginning of my eyebrows so it's not as dark but now it just looks like someone smudged it and she didn't clean it up nicely. I always get henna on my eyebrows and I never had it done this messy and for it to be $35 and not perfected is very upsetting as I never paid this much ever to get my eyebrows henna dyed. The lady was sighing and seemed annoyed the whole time and made me feel uncomfortable. As to why I will not be coming back here because of the unprofessional attitude and paying so much for services that weren't perfected and for not having the services I wanted prepared and insisted on doing another service instead, and not asking the client if they want a touch up or walking the client through each step of what they're doing, and walking out and working on other clients in the middle of my services. read more

Ive been here two times before and had seen Alice who was just wonderful. I went in today and made an appointment for 10:45 for Alice. I walk in, Alice isnt even there. So clearly no one looks after the online system. Marta started taking care of me, I told her not too thin. She said of course. She threads and threads then starts plucking. I got so nervous. She showed me the finished job and 1. They are uneven 2. She over did my right 3. I now have a thin eyebrow on right and left thicker but unshaped. I am so unbelievably upset to have this happen. She very clearly does not know what shes doing and who knows how long it will take for this to be repaired. I am beyond beyond upset. I will never go back here. read more

I have been going here for 7 years. I refuse to go anywhere else because I trust this place so much. I would give it 5 stars. Until today. Alice was the only one there when I walked in to get my eyebrows done. She threaded them very quickly and went right to tinting them. I noticed they were uneven while I was waiting for the dye to set and was hoping that it was just how the dye was applied. After the dye was removed I expressed that they were uneven which she claimed they looked fine. She suggested that maybe it was just that I got them died, in which I responded I have been getting them died and threaded here for at least 7 years. She said she could remove more, which I declined since one of my brows had less hair than usual. Thick brows are hard to grow and I don't have them done for them to be thinned. I paid for the service despite it not being worth my money solely to support the small business itself. As soon as I got in my car, looked in the mirror and realized how uneven they were, I cried. I cannot look in the mirror without tearing because of how uneven they are. Other people have noticed too. They looked better before Alice touched them and they were grown out so this says a lot. Alice was rude which wouldn't bother me much if my brows were done evenly, however if you're unevenly threading brows and being rude, customers will be running for the hills. I needed to get an eyelash lift done for a wedding, and was so excited to find out that this place does eyelash lifts too. Typically, I would give Jazeh La Belle a 5 star every time. I come live in Chicago every summer for work and this is my go to place to get threaded. I always push people to go here because I have never left with anything less than great looking brows. This past experience however left both of my eyes cut up. I had a woman that I've never had before. She threaded me, then tweezed me for like 10 minutes and then threaded again. My friend recommended this place and I am soo happy! First, the place is very chic and clean. I love that. Second, I am also glad I came in on a day that is not busy because I heard they get pretty hectic, so I just setting up an appointment and going on a Sunday morning. This is my first time getting my eyebrows thread and eyelash lift. It was a very easy and somewhat painless process. Darya was the girl that helped me and she was amazing. She was very friendly, sweet, and accommodating. I didn't know whether I needed just a clean or to get it shaped and she was okay with us making adjustments a long the way. She was also very nice in telling me what to do since this is my first time. She did cut me along the eyebrows but that's okay because it didn't hurt. But that's just me. The eyelash lift was A LONG process but I get it. She definitely took her time and making sure it looks perfect. She was also nice not upselling me when I asked if I needed to get my eyelash tinted as well and she said, no. So, I am happy she was honest. I would recommend not going in when you are extremely tired because your eyes will be closed for atlest 45 mins in a calm and quiet room. So, be warned. Finally, the price was a steal. The eyebrow thread was only $10 and I know other places that charge more than that so that's good. I am not sure how much eyelash lift usually cost but I paid $65 and they don't charge tax!! Shoutout to Alice! I came in at the end of the day for eyebrow threading, and she did a great job on my brows. She was super nice, fast, and efficient! I tried giving her another chance. She refused to service me. Probably for the best as she would ruin my eyebrows. There is this amazing eyebrow technician named Alice. She is professional, prompt, and polite. She does an amazing job. She really dials in and makes you feel as if you're the only person that is getting their eyebrows done, LOL. You can find her by her red hair, and awesome style. She is definitely the work horse of the company and sometimes even stays late to satisfy her clients. I have been coming to see Alice for a year now, and she easily is the best. From her intricate detailing, to the use of the magnifying mirror (sometimes), and even to the use of aftercare like witch hazel. She is epic at making my eyebrows look amazing. I've been a customer since 2017. The owner and the daughter can definitely, do amazing work on the eyebrows! Of course they're not always there which is understandable. I was going with some other girl there cant remember her name always looked like she had an attitude but, she sure the heck was able to do good eyebrows she's gone and not surprised. However, lately, they all have messed up my eyebrows. Either they cut me by accident with the thread , uneven, not well trimmed and just visible miStakes. I am writing this review because Siba did such an amazing job on my eyelash lift this last time. I went there on the last day of the 20% off special for the lift, and was actually disappointed because after the treatment my lashes did not look like they were even lifted at all. I get really excited. So I made my way into Jazeh La Belle for a threading and brow tint. There was maybe a 5 minute wait before I got into the chair, but once sat, the girl threading and dying my brow-do took her time, made it comfortable, mixed a great brow color, and was through with the threading in a snap. Literally. The dying took about 10-15 minutes, but the threading went by like lightning. When she said she was done, I thought to myself about how there was no way my brows were going to have been fixed up in that short of time (there might only be 12 hairs, but they get REAL unruly), but when I lifted my head and looked in the mirror it was magic. Somehow, she was able to turn my cro-magnon mess into some dream brows. In addition to threading and tinting they also do waxing and henna, which looked way cool and I'll totally be coming back to get done when it's warmer out. Normally eyebrow threading and tint is $19, but they had some kind of special so it was only $15, which I feel like is a steal for the quality of work + convenience. Oh! I've been coming here for at least 2 years now. I always waxed my eyebrows prior to threading them. I love all the girls here but Nada & Abeer are definitely my favorite. Whenever I walk in & don't see either of them I want to leave, but i always stay bc I wait FOREVER between my appointments. I have never once left here unhappy. This is my new favorite place for waxing! First off, the staff at Jazeh La Belle was very accommodating to make a same day appointment for a bikini wax in the summer which I really appreciated. The location is also nice and modern with a very clean waxing room. There was no leaking wax anywhere like other salons. I even saw a cleaning chart outlining who worked in the waxing room last, what was cleaned, what time, etc. Now for the actual bikini wax itself, it was the most painless waxing experience I've ever had. Natalia was very knowledgeable about waxes and suggested using a hard wax. She explained the pros and cons of both and definitely made the right suggestion. She also checked in multiple times for pain level, temperature, and appearance. I have recommended Natalia to my friends and they plan on scheduling appointments with her soon.
