I turned them in to the Missouri Attorney General office....Consumers Report. Joel is clearly taking advantage of Elderly folks and women. I read his reviews. I have proof that he douples and triples price on parts, he charged me twice for the same thing just worded differently ,on labor. Did things i did not ask him him to do. In total he was paid $1800 dollars on a job that should have only been around $800. Also it did not run the first time i paid $1300. ....$420 the second time. That was what should have been done the first time. Also when i let Joel know that i reported him to AGO he started screaming at me and literally came after me from behind the counter and chased me out the door. In front of other customers. Two star because basic stuff like oil changes and tire rotations are easy to schedule and reasonably priced. But a trip for a vehicle inspection months ago turned into a $1750 suspension repair to get my vehicle to pass inspection. I did not let them do the work. I got a second opinion. The repair was not necessary. I will never get another inspection from them. I would not get my oil changed there if another convenient option was available. I just don't trust them anymore. It's sad because I'm a long time customer who used to rave about them and refer folks. I generally don't like writing bad reviews because as a small business owner I know the ramifications of doing so. I can't in good conscience not write a review. They're all about the money like almost every goods and services business out there these days. It's shameful for hardworking folks struggling to get by. read more

I found my tire with very low air on the morning I was supposed to leave on a 700 mile road trip. Clark tire got me in right away, removed the screw in my tire, and I was on my way in about 1 hour (with no appointment. And it was VERY Reasonable $$! Thanks so much for the great help! read more

Stopped in with a screw hanging out of tire. Didn't do what he said he was going to do. Then he returns saying I needed new tire. Told him I have 70 on me and I get payed the next day. Told me he couldn't sell me a tire under 100 dollars. Wouldn't help me at all. Told him to pull the car out and I would drive home and put the spare on. Got home and called Bruns in Laurie and he told me he could have 2 tires for me the next day out the door price 168. I gave Clark tire 400 dollars just 2 months ago for a repair on one of our other vehicles . I will most likely never do business with Clark again. read more

I told a friend to take her truck to them to check out a battery drain. They were to take 1 hour to check out and call with an estimate. They didn't call and when she called them they said they had spent 2 hours and they weren't sure what was wrong and charged for 2 hours. What a rip off. Drove to Sunrise Beach from Kansas City and started having a noise in front end of car after being in the Ozarks a couple of days. I was scared and worried I wouldn't be able to get home and had my daughter and grandson with me. I called this shop and told to bring the car in the following morning. The shop was very busy shortly after 8 on a saturday morning but they took the time to look at my car within 20 minutes. I was told that all lug nuts were loose on the car and one of the front wheels was ready to fall. I just had the tires rotated a few weeks prior and drove the car a couple hundred miles. So glad to find this place! They took time for me when the shop was so busy. My life and my family was in danger and I feel they helped save the life of 3 people that particular day. I only wish this shop was in Kansas City! I highly recommend this shop knowing that they care about people and the work they do. I will tell everyone I know about this place and how wonderful they are to the customers it serves. read more
