Reached out to the merchant and they basically told me "tough luck check our refund policy that says you agreed we can screw you!" Claim they will file an insurance claim with the shipper although the damage isn't shipping related and if it's approved I'll get a refund, could take months. Told me their policy won't allow you to file a claim with your credit card company! Sounds like an attempted insurance scam to me and they are trying to screw their customer. I guess this is what you get dealing with a low grade online merchant. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere! It's not worth saving a few bucks!

Subject Customer Reference - J&J Treasure Trove…read moreDear J&J Treasure Trove, I would like to provide a brief reference regarding my recent purchase and delivery of a Cleopatra chest. The delivery service was excellent--professional, courteous, and handled with great care. Both gentlemen were polite and respectful, and they placed the chest exactly where I requested in my daylight basement. I am very pleased with the furniture itself. The chest is beautiful, in excellent condition, and the quality exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the price was very reasonable and an exceptional value. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with both the product and the service and would highly recommend J&J Treasure Trove. Sincerely, Barbara Askander

Teak just has that quality to it that makes you want - or need - to reach out and run your hands over it. The rest of the furniture here is pretty nice too, especially some of the sofas and chairs. Whether your taste leans toward curvy or angular, it's all here. The designs here are most definitely Scandinavian contemporary and simple, but also have a classic esthetic that means you won't have to replace them every time you change your wall and floor coverings or your entire house. That's a good thing, because apart from super-Scan design giant IKEA, this stuff is not cheap! Bonus: nice, unobtrusive salespeople who don't make feel pressured, but are there when you need them.

I am happy to pay for good quality furniture that I expect to last me at least 10 years, so price was not a con for me. I have visited here several times, and each time had a pleasant experience. The sales people do not follow you around, or rush up to you when you enter to tell you all about their specials. They allowed me to browse at my leisure, and made me aware that they were available to help me if I needed it. I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to purchase my couch. I asked the saleswoman to sell me the chair and within 10 minutes I was out the door with delivery (free if you pay over $500) set up for two days later. I loved how quickly they were able to deliver the furniture. The pieces in this store are such a great mic of modern and retro, that they will complement almost any decor. There is something for everyone here, but especially those with mid century homes. I found exactly what I was looking for here, and will be coming back if I need anything else for my new home.

You can tell from the windows that they have a lot of stuff in there but imagine my surprise to discover the depth and the breadth of the store itself. They literally have some of everything. I took tons of pictures, so don't worry! The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Everything is well organized and beautifully displayed. We purchased some books, a couple of DVD's, a purse, and a pin (I have a collection). We made some great finds and the prices, for what we brought, were very reasonable. If you're a big spender though, they do have a pair of statues in a back room going for $4,900 and I'm pretty sure that isn't the most expensive item that they have available. It was really fun to just look around at all of the various things that they had available.

A delivery truck was at my apartment making a delivery to another apartment 2 days in a row…read more Instead of parking in the center lot that is empty they squeezed their truck between 2 residents' cars, making a precarious turn between 3 cars to back up into the space. The first day they placed a box on the edge of the truck and it nearly got knocked over twice towards my car, I asked them to be careful to which he simply replied, "uh huh." They park next to me again today, the driver squeezing between my car and the truck carrying an electric drill. I was livid at their incompetence, any professional company will park in the center lot away from cars or just park on the roadway with hazards on... NOT squeeze a 10 ft truck between 2 cars! I called the store obviously upset to which the owner keeps referring to me as "hun", "hun it's a big truck", "hun they gotta park". I asked him to stop calling me "hun" and informed him of the empty area in the center and if they damaged my car I would be filing a police report to which his reply was, "hun that's what insurance is for" and "hun you need to pray" before hanging up. What an absolute crap owner. Maybe if you learned how to be professional your workers would also follow suit. If you want an example of a professional business learn from 1-800-GOT-JUNK, they drive large trucks but park away from cars, even if that means carrying things further away. Or Two Men and a Truck, who happens to be delivering today in a larger truck but isn't blocking or dangerously close to a single car. If their professionalism is a sign of their business I'm sure they are over pricing cheap/damaged furniture.

Items are organized but nevertheless it took a bit of time to locate what we needed. Asset Recycling houses over 30,000 square feet of new and ready-to-use resources. My son has been here often so he's becoming familiar with certain areas and found what he wanted. I, on the other hand, was overwhelmed. Asset Recycling is a division of Youth Fair Chance, Inc., and in operation since April of 2003. They are a non-proft organization who works to divert usable building materials from landfills while offering donors all allowable tax incentives for their contributions. The charity's focus is to provide today's youth with a fair chance for a safer and more environmentally friendly future by eliminating usable building materials from landfills.  It provides neighborhoods and individuals, especially the ill, needy, and youth, new and affordable building materials for home projects. While the Asset Recycling warehouse primarily contains windows, doors, paint, plumbing supplies, flooring, and lighting, you can also count on finding interesting deals, arts and crafts items, holiday and party supplies, home decorating items, fabrics, and more. Asset Recycling is open to the public with a focus on serving those most in need of assistance with safe and affordable housing.  Inventory changes often, so frequent visits are encouraged. Asset Recycling is located on Holt Road with entrance and parking in the very back of the building. Stop in when you're in search of building supplies and have some time.
