This is our 3rd time hiring Christopher for a project at our house. I wrote a review for his first…read moreproject but did not for the 2nd or most recent, so I'm including both of those here! Most recently, he came to reinstall our new LVP on our 2nd floor. We (mistakenly) hired a different company to install the LVP (I didn't know Christopher did LVP as well!) and that company installed it at an angle. It looked terrible! Christopher came and very carefully uninstalled the LVP and baseboards to save as many boards as possible. He cleaned up the subfloor and added self-leveler, feathering it out to make it correct. He reinstalled it beautifully - and straight! As expected, he was detailed oriented and put in extra time to make sure it was done right. He even straightened up an angled wall which was bowed to ensure the baseboard sat flush. I also included photos from the bathroom he did for us in early 2024. He laid floor tile, wall tile, shower floor tile, added a niche in the shower, installed the tub and tub faucet! It all looks perfect and is still in great shape 2 years later! Not only is Christopher the best at what he does but I also feel comfortable having him in our home, even if we are not there. He's keeps us updated on the project timeline and is always friendly!

One company came out to meet with us and then never called us back to see if we wanted to proceed with them or if we had any questions. Their pricing was also higher than CMKs and even though their methodology seemed comprable, their lack of communication didn't bode well. Our first CMK visit on 3/3 was with Jason C. who went over all of the details with us. Hubby and I decided to eliminate the garden tub altogether and expand the shower area. We really didn't have a clear idea of what we wanted and Jason encouraged us to look at Pinterest and other sites to get a better feel for what it could look like. The printed information Jason gave us regarding their workmanship and guarantees was very reassuring. He even gave us a sheet to do comparisons with other companies and with questions we could ask to better compare bids. He explained how they use a special water barrier to ensure moisture doesn't seep into the walls. He also gave us printed instructions with what we could expect at each stage of construction. Super helpful! Once we decided on CMK, they sent us a proposal and we were off to the races! They estimated 4-6 weeks for the entire project. We signed the contract on 3/31. They let us know that we were in their queue for August. We then met with Grady S. who is one of their designers. Grady came out to the house on 4/23 to look at the existing bathroom and to ask us specific questions on what colors and hardware we were looking for. He measured everything and said he'd schedule us to come to their design studio to make final selections. We met Grady on May 6 and he helped us select wall tiles, floor tiles, paint colors, and hardware. Once we made the selections, he printed out CAD drawings of everything so we could get a feel for what it would look like. From there, they ordered everything for our job. We had a pre-construction meeting with our assigned project manager, Zach N. on 7/17. Zach said they could start earlier than expected and went over the contract and the change order we requested. Again, he made sure that we were all on the same page. From there on, Zach communicated with us throughout the whole process via phone and text. He also came by often to check up on the work that was being done. They began on July 21 2026. The contractors that they used were all very professional and easy to work with. Some of the crews spoke very little to no English (Spanish and Portuguese), but since I am a bilingual Latina, it was no problem for us, although I could see where this could be an issue with other clients. The demo team put down butcher paper from the front door to and including the master bath and also put down plastic on our carpet. Then they proceeded to put up plastic walls to cut down on the dust, which I completely appreciated!! It still got dusty, but that's to be expected. Demo was done in a day and then they started working on the shower. The contractors that came out were very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions, which we incorporated, as they were working. They came out most days. After the demo team was done, the concrete team (that's what I call them) came out and installed the Schluter waterproofing system and put up the wall tiles and floor tiles. The plumber Mitch L. came out to do his bit, as did the electrician who installed a new exhaust fan. Mitch was super informative regarding what had to be done. We had a termite guy come out and spray the floor before they poured the new concrete. The painter was very detail oriented and didn't leave until he was fully satisfied with the work. He really did a great job and went above and beyond. He took away all of the floor coverings and swept all the areas. Mitch came back out to install the shower hardware and ensure that it was working properly. Both Mitch and Zach were in communication with the Pasco County inspectors and all approvals were done via Zoom. Gotta love technology! Tomorrow they will install the glass above the knee wall and do the final clean. It took 3 weeks. I can't say enough about CMK as a whole and the team, including Jason, Grady, and especially Zach. They under-promised and over-delivered! Remodeling is very expensive work and I'm so very glad we went with CMK. I can highly recommend them!!

After paying a 50% deposit on July 10, I was told I would be scheduled immediately. That didn't happen. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a start date. Communication was poor and unprofessional, with broken promises and missed callbacks. The crew finally arrived on July 29. The tile was installed with an extremely thin grout line--something I was never asked to approve but chose to accept. They said they would return the next day to grout and then come back the following day to move the heavy furniture back, which was the agreement I had in place with their representative. Instead, they grouted the next day and replaced the furniture less than an hour later, ignoring the recommended 24-hour grout curing time. When I called the project manager, his dismissive response was, "What do you want them to do?" The crew came back to remove the furniture, clearly annoyed, and became argumentative and disrespectful in my home. One even said they used a thin grout line specifically so they could move the furniture sooner. Later, I was contacted by someone in management, Jonny Sibrian, whose tone was equally rude and condescending. I explained I was arranging a third-party inspection to ensure the tile wasn't damaged due to rushed furniture placement or the use of vinegar (an acidic cleaner that can harm uncured grout). Instead of understanding, he accused me--twice--of trying to avoid paying my bill and even made a veiled threat. I've always paid for quality work, and I fully intend to pay the balance if the job passes inspection. But the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespect I experienced with this company were unacceptable. I would not recommend Perfect Choice Flooring to others based on how I was treated or the quality of their work.
