I had my flooring replaced about 3.6 years ago. It was begun on January 13, 2022. It was the first time a new set of managers were over new workers. All my workers were non- English speakers. They moved my furniture to one side of the room and started laying 'wood' flooring about 6 panels from the inside wall inside my living room. As time went on they became aware that my floors were not level. They then began mixing something white with water and would pour it into the unleveled part. A little later they would lay the flooring. It took a year or so before it started coming up! I now have several areas that have risen up to the point if I need to move furniture, the legs get caught on the unleveled floor. A few places have begun chipping away at the corners, or actually chipping off the planks. I've noticed this in other rooms. I had them do my floor before when they were up on US19N. They did a much better job then; so when I had a leak under my kitchen sink on New Years Night 2022; when I was gone for perhaps 2 hours; I immediately thought of them for an estimate. Although my paperwork included new primed white quarter round; when the men left after several days that week, I noticed they they had not put down my baseboards so when I mentioned it; they hurriedly nailed it. I am not able to repaint it is I have turned almost 73 and could not stay on my knees long enough to paint it. To be honest I'm pretty disappointed in how it looked when they left. At this point I can't afford to have it redone as I have very little to live on. My total price was $7,751.00. I have no one to help me anymore. They did not leave any spare flooring. I told the manager over my job that it was a horrible experience for me, but he just replied something to the effect of "well I'm sure you will give us a good evaluation." At this point I'm very disappointed with the turnout; however I guess I just have to live with it. With my experiences I cannot give this place a good evaluation nor tell others to check them out. I thought I would get over my disappointment, but I guess I won't. I truly hope others have found their jobs to turn out better than mine. I live in Clearwater. If the estimate is still on file - the number was 23472. Hopefully others have had honestly good luck with them. read more

We have had Floor Depot install our tile floors in three areas over the last 8 years, as well as kitchen tile backsplash, and wood flooring in a bedroom. Each time, the work is completed timely, looks beautiful, and my wishes accommodated. I do my best to challenge them and throw curves, but they handle issues each time and show great respect for me as the customer, and always make things right and work with me. We are having hardwood floors installed by Floor Depot. This is not your average flooring/carpeting store because from the moment you walk in to this well-stocked, unpretentious establishment, you are greeted and attended to by a very knowledgeable staff. The installers are excellent and I cannot stress that enough. Floor Depot came very highly recommended to us by a contractor we are working with. Don't waste your time going to those immense warehouse-sized stores for flooring or carpeting where you can never find a sales associate to answer any of your questions. P.S. Zero stars or negative should be the rating. Do extra work not needed without approval then pile on the price. Ruined brand new pavers around pool and we're going to power wash it away which put cement all over the house and windows and pulled the pavers apart worst than just the concrete all over them. Poor customer service when trying to fix mistakes. Things happen I get it but how you handle it is what matters. Go somewhere else I warn. read more

Our experience with everyone at Floor Depot was top notch. We started the process of looking for new flooring options back in February before the Covid shutdown. When we restarted the process the 1st of June, JP got us back on track and was very helpful in assessing our wants and needs. We selected engineered hardwood for most of our house with carpet in our master bedroom. The team that came out to install were professional and communicated extremely well with us in each days process and what we would expect each day. This was extremely important to me as it was an 8 day process and we were living in the house. Dave, Tom and Reuben did an excellent job with all aspects of the install and we couldn't be happier. We contracted Floor Depot to install laminate flooring throughout our manufactured home. We left them a key and returned to NY for a month. While we were gone they completed the job. We've just completed the final phase of carpet installation for our home renovation here in Safety Harbor with Floor Depot and have to say they have done a fabulous job for us. We are thrilled with the quality of products and service, the competitive pricing, the installation of both tile and carpet. We started the renovation process by remodeling (2) bathrooms, the dining room and kitchen with all new tile and they did a first class job helping us through the process, from choosing tile, measuring and installation. These areas were followed up later with (2) separate installations of carpet as we went through the entire house renovating everything, a huge endeavor. BEWARE!!! Most dishonest establishment ever dealt with. Had a wood floor replaced by them a was told the floor needed to be leveled first . In reality floor was previously leveled and though I protested they went ahead and supposedly used 10 bags at a cost of 800.00 $ instead of using a floor stripper to remove excess glue. The reason for this is it is far less labor for them yet costly for you. At no time did he ever bring a floor leveler in to back up his false claim and when I attempted to call his office to complain was met with a response that they can tell with out checking level but with their vision . You been warned ! read more
