Always an excuse…read more Then they tried to charge us for things they didn't do, and times they weren't even here working, all because they tore up our water softener system and ruined every appliance in our house that uses water 4 days after starting the job. We had to pay to get things fixed or do it ourselves. Joseph saw the huge expense piling up after 4 weeks and decided he would try to extort us by sending us fraudulent billing to get more money out of us. We refused and told him not to darken our doorway again! He was rarely on the job site and had no idea what his guys were doing. If it wasn't for our cameras around the house, he might have convinced us of some pretty expensive lies. This guy has no idea what he is doing and relies on two guys (though he claims he has more working for him but even they told us it's just the two of them) who work unsupervised and he never even comes to see what they have done each day. If we saw him it was to drop off or pick up a trailer. He ALWAYS has some family issue going, or something at his house needing something, that keeps him from being around. He has no clue how to run a business. Has no ethics, and lies right to your face. We were never paid back for all the damage they did to our house through negligence, plus we paid for pavers we never had delivered. His funny math more than a few times showed he was trying to rip us off. His guys will say they will do something and no one says one word about it will cost more. They left the job and stopped showing up until we agreed to pay HIM more money we DID NOT OWE HIM when we had paid him for 75% of the job, and he wasn't even 50% done. I wouldn't trust this guy to put up a clothes line, much less anything more complex. If you're considering hiring them, I would strongly recommend against it. it's a shame I didn't see honest negative reviews from others before we hired him. Biggest regret of our lives! Now we are out even more money having to pay another company to fix this mess they made here. The pavers aren't even level! Looks like a roller coaster with all the hills and dips! Total nightmare!

Was looking at landscaping our front lawn, had a few ideas but didn't know exactly where we were…read moregoing to end up with our project. Reached out to a few companies and Al's quote turned out to be the lowest of the three I received. He was very thorough in detailing his suggestions for us and we eventually decided to zero-scape the front lawn. He gave us options to choose from, explained what has worked best for him in the past. He took out our existing bushes by our front windows, ensuring he got most, if not all of the roots so they wouldn't be an issue moving forward, planted 4-5 yucca plants, put granite rock down to cover the yard and our curb with a barrier around the whole area. We also went with a two-foot-wide extension from the side of our driveway that has 2" pavers and crushed granite so I could better get out of my vehicle since I have mobility issues. We also had him trim our huge Ash tree in the front since it needed it badly. Al was very professional, kept us in the loop on all decisions and got the job done quickly. His attention detail is OUTSTANDING! I would 100% recommend him for any of your landscaping projects, big or small. Our front yard looks great and now we don't have to mow it ever again!! :-)

Last year we interviewed several contractors for our privacy fence project and decided to go with…read moreW&D Fence. Guiellermo, the owner, is trustworthy, stands by his promises, and builds a really nice fence. Since it was a custom privacy fence with an electric dual gate, the project had its challenges. We used pictures of similar fences to frame what we wanted and then put our own touches to the design. It did take a few field adjustments during construction but his guys were on top of it and the overall finished project is outstanding. A big plus is that our neighbors seem to be happy with it and we have received many compliments on both the look and uniqueness. Something not to be overlooked , is that W&D has not hesitated to come back and make some minor gate adjustments, after the fence has settled it.
