The Find has a nice selection of baby and children's clothes. There are buckets of Jellycat stuff toys and lots of books and toys. The Find doesn't just cater to children; this place has something for everyone. There is usually a nice candles, jewelry, women's clothes, and mugs. I also like their selection of notebooks and pens. They have also had some really cute and functional face masks here during the height of the pandemic. I purchased a couple COIN 1804 masks from them and those turned out to be my favorite ones. The Find also stocks some Fort Wayne themed items like magnets that say "Fort Wayne: It's not that bad," and postcards with drawings of downtown. Regardless of the reason I visit The Find, I usually also end up purchasing greeting cards here too. They have some cute ones for every occasion.

I had been meaning to send my bestie a gift and I thought it was perfect to send to her as she is obsessed with dunkin. I ended up making her a complete Dunkin care package and it all started from a purchase of a pen at this pop up store. Think it's a great place for gift ideas, obviously! Don't expect it to be large, it is only one in room, but they expect to have local artwork on the walls soon and might possibly consider expansion at some time in the future. For a little shop though it has some charming items and yes, it was hard for me to get out of the shop without buying something for myself. (I succumbed!) One of my favorite things about this shop is they are selling items made by local artisans. I love not only shopping local but supporting local people. Quilted items, maple syrup, jewelry etc. There is one issue, however, and that is parking. It is very limited but if you find the parking lot full then take advantage of on-street parking. Just don't park in spaces intended for nearby businesses. Not cool.

Getting him anything is always a chore, as he is difficult to buy for. He is, though, a pretty religious guy and i thought this store might have something he would like. I was in luck, there was a statute of a Jesus fish made out of wood. He actually ended up really liking it, which is a rare thing as usually he never has liked my gifts. While here, though, i found this store also sells greeting cards, home and garden decor. Definitely something i love. More importantly, i found two gifts to give to my best friend apple for Christmas. They were side gifts to supplement the main item i would get her. One was a sign that said "I need 3 coffees, 6 puppies, & like 12 million dollars"... so her and "your the friend everyone wishes they had". She totally is the bestest friend i have ever had! She loved those when she got them. So an awesome store with stuff i would like for my home... that helped me find something my dad loved and also brought a smile to my best friend!!!! Score!! She could not have been more kind and warm; I'm so sad I didn't get her and the owners' names (but her daughter also owns the jewelry store across the street!!). Olive & Slate is a must-shop. Instantly the scent of one of their candles hits your senses and you're drawn in. They sell these awesome robot pieces made of metal and tin and are painted and out together by locals. They also sell flour towels with amazing quips on them (see pics below - they're only $7!!), and Mud Pie products that you canNOT love without. You gotta go visit. BRING YOUR MONEY! Buyer's remorse is NOT a factor here!

There are numerous items (like coffee mugs) styled with clever sayings. There are candles and pots, note pads, and ceramics. The mix is eclectic, but somehow the owner has a good sense of style and taste to make it look like it goes together. The facility is well-maintained and nicely organized; with a large selection of site-centric items to explore and browse. The staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We found some postcards, to remind us of the beauty of our visit; and some discounted bakery for later enjoyment. I personally fought the urge to go home with the magnolia silk wreath beside the front counter but my mom ended up buying a kitchen tea towel and oven mit. From the moment you see the front window display at Cozy Nest you'll know this isn't your average small town gift shop filled with trinkets, Cherished Teddies, Precious Moments and Wooden Willows angels (no offense to you collectors out there). Conveniently located a few doors down from lunch at the Montage Cafe and cappuccinos at The Coffee Pot and you couldn't ask for a better Saturday morning in Greenville. I was impressed with the prices given what the items are. My only complaint was that the shopkeeper seemed to have a friend in while we were there and never greeted or engaged with us which would seem like a great marketing opportunity for a newer business. We'll certainly be back and I imagine this scenario isn't always the case.
