We missed so many shops in Michigan because they wouldn't allow well behaved dogs! Their loss! The owner, Sabrina, is as sweet as her shop! There are SO many wonderful things at reasonable prices and the place is bigger than it looks! It's neat, tidy, and well organized. My only complaint is that it is over 2 hours from where I live! I found a sweet artist print that I took home but had to pass on a furniture piece that we didn't have room for! Don't miss this one if you love antiques, collectibles or home decor!! I saw this antique rocking chair and decided to come back for it in the morning. It was the perfect Christmas present for mom. She suffers through back-pain and arthritis and I thought this was the perfect thing to help her. I came back and walked into the store. It is a huge multi-room, multi-level antique mall full of all types of items. It has antique decorations, furniture, weapons, and other sundry items for a great price. I got an old comic book for myself, and a precious moments figurine for mom. I also bought the rocking chair. All it needed was a little bit of love. I took it home, bought some wood oil to use on the chair and it looked perfect afterwards. My mom loved the gift and uses it whenever her back is really bad. I am so glad I stumbled upon this antique mall. Next time I am in Decatur, I will see if I can discover some other great finds!

Pricing looked very acceptable. We particularly liked the are three manufacturers of stainless steel kitchen bowls. All of these were made for the home cook who starts with produce from scratch and preserves for cooks the same. We will be back here. My fiancé found himself some new jeans & several new shirts. He was so excited because some thrift stores either have very little men's clothing or none at all & while he enjoys helping me shop, he likes looking for new items for his wardrobe, too. Men, you will definitely find something here! Women, there are a lot of different tops and dresses. I tried to find pants, but nothing really looked good for my personal style. I DID find some workout pants, a new tshirt for the gym, & a few nice tops. Today was 50% off almost everything (not sunglasses, but at $6.99 each, they weren't too pricey!) & we ended up with 12 new clothing items for only about $40!!! Though it took us about 10 minutes each to get into one of the only 3 dressing rooms, we really enjoyed our trip. The cashier was friendly, if a little slow, but we will return.

Most recently I came in to find a birthday gift for a friend and order a Christmas centerpiece for my mother in law. I entered the shop and noticed there were a couple of ladies working. I was not greeted at all, no eye contact even. It was as if I wasn't there. I walked around the entire store hoping they'd make contact with me but for a half an hour, I got nothing. As I was walking through, one of the employees walked past me holding a box of some sort and as she walked behind me, she let her elbow rub along my back as if I was in her way. No excuse me, no I'm sorry. I didn't know what to think! I was so terribly disappointed by my visit that I don't think I will be back for some time if ever.

If you are having anything framed it is worth the drive, the money you save on the framing, will more than pay for your lunch and maybe a mocha late too. I have had several pieces of art framed and one special, oddly framed piece, (on a 45 degree angle) and the project was done professionally and beautifully done. The gentleman that does the framing takes great pride in the quality of his work. Usually you would pay top dollar for this quality, but it so reasonably priced, I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bill. This is a real find, if you like coffee, this place is great! I find it hard to believe this restaurant is in such a small town like this. The food is of the highest quality and the attached coffee cafe is as close to a Coffee Barrister you are going to get in the Midwest. The main cafe person is very, very well versed in coffee and beans and quality. I have traveled all over the country and some in Europe and this guy knows his stuff. If you are a coffee house fan, I don't think you will be disappointed. In fact I think you need to make this small cafe a stop if you are a coffee snob. The deserts available are all made from scratch on location, I have eaten there many times and the deserts are always worth the trip alone, Add a Mocha with it and you'll have a worthy sugar rush. Of course you can get everything coffee made without sugar and skinny if you like. Did I happen to mention they make 90% of their food from scratch? If you have not figured it out, I highly recommend this small, out of the way, quite place. If you don't know where to look for the place, it is in the same building as the small post office, a barber shop and beauty shop. Just across the street from the bank. At this time they don't have wireless available but they are working on it and should have it in the future. Call first, and ask if you need it.
