I have used JCH to paint my kitchen cabinets four years ago and have moved to a new home and had them paint my new home's kitchen cabinets. Avoid this business! The only reason I put 1 star is the fact that 0 stars is not an option. I Requested a quote for work last month and received the quote. I had questions about the scope of work since it was specifically quoted to repair and paint all facia and siding on the house. This was confirmed when I emailed them and spoke with them. Come today I recieve a call from Christian which suggests that the quote was only for new paint and repair on the front of the house. When I send an email showing exactly what was quoted and confirmed and explaining that I will not be doing business with them, I was then insulted by him in the following email. Sorry for the confusion ... Karen from our office responded to email without contacting me. A couple of thoughts as you reflect on property management: (1) the place you claim to represent is in pitiful condition, anyone with experience would know that a full restoration would require a lot more time and materials. (2) human contact wasn't available ... your "tenants" were never available (alive?) during this process. (3) your inquiry and subsequent communication have "scam" written all over them. (4) next time you're in Granbury, give me a shout ... i'd love to meet the real damien in person. Jch read more

We initially used JCH on a master bathroom remodel about 2 years ago that included all wall painting, matching wall texture in several locations of removed mirrors, etc. and spray painting all of the cabinetry. Their work was very high quality and the prep and protection of the adjacent areas was very well done. We recently had JCH back to paint the interior of a large double door entry with extensive natural wood molding/panels and etched glass. They also re-painted a kitchen accent wall and hallway baseboards following a major floor remodeling project. Their prep work and protection of the adjacent main living areas was top notch. They erected a plastic containment tent that was 15' high and enabled them to sand, prep and spray the entry door system resulting in a finish that looks like it came from the factory. I have an architectural background and 40 years of construction experience and JCH's prep, protection and final product are as good as anything I've experienced. Their crews on both of our projects were courteous and made sure that their work every step of the way met our expectations. We will absolutely be using JCH Painting on our next project and do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a painting project. read more

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We have a small house on the Brazos River that badly needed exterior painting. It had not been painted for many years, and had several old coats of paint that needed to come off. The crew spent the first three days scraping and caulking. The price they charged was fair, but what set them apart was the quality of the work and the people working on their team. They cleaned up every night and when they were done, we couldn't believe how good the house looked!! They used quality paint, and almost a year later, the house still looks great! read more

Painted part of our house a few months ago and decided to paint addional parts of the house. (We are leaving town for a few months so it would be the perfect time to paint.) The owner did not show up for our appt yesterday to give us a bid and did not return my texts until I cancelled the project. His wife/scheduler apologized and said she "plumb forgot" and not used to working on Sundays. She texted me 2 days prior to confirm. (They live 5 minutes away.) She and the painting crew showed up (30 minutes late) this morning and were ready to start. I answered the door and told her I my text said I cancelled the project. She said she had me confused with someone else. Gave no reason for ignoring my texts. I told her I was getting another company to paint and shut the door. Painting crew does a nice job but the owners have unprofessional business skills. We spent a lot of money with this company. You would think they would remember our names. (BTW, a neighbor used this company and there was total confusion on the quote and job.) read more

JCH did an excellent job on our home interior painting! Previously stained wood (crown molding, doors / trim and baseboards) were in rough shape and now look brand new!
