So much so, that following the repair I chose him to bring my 1990's house up to code by removing the required stucco around the ground level of the house and painting afterwards. Robert's employees were all EXACTLY like him:. FAST, PROFESSIONAL, AND EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE. They repaired foundation flaws, answered dozens of my questions, and genuinely took pride in their work. Needless to say, it was more than evident in the final product!!! I referred Stucco by Marko to one of my customers where I had identified some stucco deficiencies. Marko gave them a proposal based on his own inspection for a little less than $10K for the repairs, everyone agreed that this was a responsible and affordable repair cost, and the proposal was used as a basis to go ahead and purchase the home. After closing on the home my customers paid Marko about a $5K deposit, but when Marko showed up to start the work, the scope of required work suddenly changed, as Marko decided that all of the stucco had to come off and the new price would be $50K! Any experienced builder can tell you that with very few exceptions +-20% is the max except able factor of error margin and most responsible contractors figure a reserve into their firm fixed proposals with the only changes usually due to change orders based on customer requests. However, a 500% increase is criminal behavior by any standard!

Two weeks pass with services never being performed, it took about another two weeks to finally receive a refund. Waste of time and poor customer service. Highly advise to avoid this middle man company. I wasn't aware that after hiring them, they hire someone else to do the job which is why they kept delaying. After running out of excuses, they start ignoring your calls. If you decide to hire them anyway, keep in mind you are paying more to go through them, rather than hiring a painting company directly. There is literally no reason to use this company, they are both slower as well as more expensive since you are paying for the services to be performed from whatever company they hire, as well as their own commission. Again, HIGHLY recommend to AVOID! Edit: Calvin from CertaPro did reach out to me via phone after I posted my honest review. I did some more research after and was able to get in contact with one of the independent small painting businesses that CertaPro works with to complete jobs. They knew the salesperson that I was initially working with by name and said they have done multiple projects with them. I usually don't go this far to prove a point but I also don't like being accused of providing false information. Anyone that hires this company can simply talk to the painters that show up and ask themselves. I encourage anyone with a similar experience to write your own review.
