Growing up, the only department store was JCPenney's. It always had great back to school sales and plenty of clothing options to choose from. Now that I'm older, I still like shopping here for some great deals. A lot has changed at JCPenney's over the past few years, but they still have decent clothing as great prices. Plus, they are constantly having sales and you can easily order something online and pick-up in store. This location is kind of out of the way (as is everything out at this mall) but it is on the new side and very large. It is easy to navigate between departments and find what I need or to just browse and find a great deal. There is plenty of parking both out front and in the back of the store. Overall, I like coming here and will definitely be back. read more

Very poor customer service, unfriendly staff. They did not open for one hour after time posted on door. Defective item I tried to return was such a hassle I left it on counter with my receip. I hope the $20 they cheated me out of helps them out. read more

The JCPenney Store in Lake Havasu City isn't bad but some of the service sucks, when i got there i was intending on doing some shopping they didn't have any normal carts mostly they were carts with child seat, but they had one little basket and I thought that would be fine so I was looking at the clothes picked up several tops going to try them on before I looked at any more, there was a young girl working in the dressing room. I guess going through clothes to put away and rudely without any respect at all. She tells me you can't take the basket in the dressing room and I told her well I don't wanna leave it out someone will take it, she says just park it over there no will take it, by that time another lady comes out of the dressing room with a bigger basket and she says well she must've went in when I wasn't here but you can't take yours in, so I parked it over where she said then I thought about it and I thought that was just inconvenient so I walked off and told her she can put away, I figured I'll do my shopping elsewhere. She was a snotty little girl that had no respect for her customers. She gets zero stars. I should of told the manager they just ruined my day and lost a sell by making shopping inconvenient no wonder people are going to shopping online. I do have to say the lady in the makeup department was very nice and very helpful so i did buy some makeup. read more

This JCPenney is by far the nicest JCPenney I have ever been in! Can be hard to find a sales person, that is why I did not give it 5 stars. It has a huge selection and if you buy on sale you can get some great prices! Parking is close by and you rarely experience a line at check out. This Penney's is way better than I have found in the larger cities like Phoenix or in Southern California. Definately worth shopping here! read more

Wow, not that this will be my last stop to talk about the horrible service I received at JCPenney Lake Havasu City. I purchased a dress from this location and after wearing it once took it to the cleaners. The dress did not say Do Not Dry Clean, it said hand wash. I took to the cleaners and got it back with all the color from the dress removed. When I spoke with the cleaners they said they cleaned based on what the tag said. I take it to JCPenny and they say it's the cleaners fault. This dress is on sale right now for $38 dollars!!! I called and was told they would have a manager call me. After 2 1/2 hours I decided to go to the store and took the dress in, Brian who is the store manager after having to be called to customer service twice because he lacks Customer service skills and would rather sit in his office finally came to customer service after the cashier told him on the phone it's the cleaners fault and then said yeah that's what I think, hi comes out and flat out said there was nothing he could do. Bullshit!! Anyone in the business of retail and management knows that's a flat out lie! My next call will be to corporate!!! It's not the price it's standing behind your merchandise! Easy MOS, exchange or store credit, but Brian has no such clue of how to take care of a situation!! read more

On 5-15-14 we visited our local store. I have been to this store many times but I have never felt so welcomed and helped in my entire life. Yolanda helped me out right away. I was in the shoe department, she showed me everything I needed to know about the dress shoes I was about to purchase. I needed slacks also so she offered to take me to the section and shoe me different styles, colors, sales and was just all around knowledgeable. It didn't end there, she had saved us so much time that I was able to buy my girlfriend some new shoes also (because she needs them haha). She handed us off to Brittany in the shoe department who was very helpful and was able to help is finish our checkout. I have worked in the retail and service industry my who life, and I was blown away by the way I felt when I left!!!! Completely made our evening end on a positive note!! read more

Selection and products good to very good. Customer Service was poor on my recent visit. I could elaborate but let me just say that I intended to make a purchase, but ended up leaving without buying due to an inconsiderate sales clerk.
