I called late yesterday, just before they closed to see if they could fit me in for a cut and color. The receptionist said Amber could help me at 12:45. I need a new stylist and was looking forward to meeting her. The salon is on Abbott Road at Woodside in South Buffalo. The upstairs is for coloring, highlighting, and rinsing/shampooing your hair. The downstairs has a receptionist right when you walk in. Behind her is an area for cutting and styling hair. The salon is chic and set up well. Amber is a great conversationalist. I wasn't stressed at all during my visit and the time spent there went by very quickly. I had her highlight my hair with blonde highlights and cut an inch and a half off. She did a really great job. I can't wait for my next appointment.

Corto's (they have 3 locations, I chose the one in South Buffalo) was able to get me in last minute, so I chose them.. $35 was a bit steep for a haircut but I wanted it, so I splurged! Abby was my hair stylist and she had a great, bubbly personality yet knowledgeable about her craft..... I wanted a short cut with layers and she suggested I try it without layers at first since I have thinner hair because it would be pretty full at that length already. She was right and the length was exactly what I had in mind. The whole wash/cut/style took about 45 minutes , long enough for attention to detail but not too long to take up too much of my afternoon. I was very appreciative of the scalp massage too. Color at Corto's is pricy but I would pay the money to get a cute cut from Abby again!
