They also cater to individuals who just want a one of embroidery project done, such as monogrammed towels or hats. Normally if I want something embroidered, I go to The Cap Factory at Chermside, but today I needed something done before Christmas and was over this side of town so I decided to try EmbroidMe out. The lady at the counter was very helpful and assisted me in choosing the best font, font size, and colour to be embroidered.Turn-around was quick (especially this close to Christmas) with the two towels I was getting embroidered ready only three hours after I dropped them off (The Cap Factory sometimes says to come back the next day). The downside of EmbroidMe is that because their main business is bulk projects such as uniforms, they charge a 'set-up' fee of thirty dollars to place the order etc. which obviously would be reasonable if you were getting fifty shirts done, but for two towels having to pay thirty dollars on top of the twenty per towel embroidery fee is kind of prohibitive. Because I was desperate I went ahead with the order and can't complain about any other aspect of the experience, but unless I need a big order done sometime, I will continue to go to The Cap Factory for one-off embroidery.

After two more days I dropped off the shirts, still no sample provided, but again I was told it would be emailed along with a quote for some other items. I first met Craig when having my engagement ring resized, I was a little apprehensive because my…read morering is a pearl and quite delicate, but Craig did a great job and my ring now fits perfectly. We were so happy with the quality of work and Craig's friendly attitude we went back to have my fiance's wedding band made. I showed Craig a picture of one we liked, and wrote an inscription for it on a scrap of paper. He took measurements for my fiancé, giving advice on what would be the most comfortable, we agreed to a reasonable price and left it with him. I just went to pick the completed band up today and wow! The band itself is beautiful, well crafted and timeless. But what made me so happy was Craig had used the scrap of paper with the inscription I had written and had it copied to the inside of the ring. Such a special touch to have my handwriting engraved in the ring, I hadn't even thought of it but as soon as I saw it I knew it was perfect. He even saved the scrap of paper to put in the ring box and keep. Beyond that, there are always absolutely gorgeous pieces in the shop. 10/10 would recommend
