I rented a large unit at lake and Trail USA and had the unit for 1 year. I made several trips to the office which was not manned for several days to let them know. I also called the manager on the day I emptied the unit so that they would not charge my credit card for another month. I sent two text messages as well as an email to the business email account. The company tried to charge me for another month causing me to have to dispute charge with my credit card. I also was told my refund of my security deposit would be refunded within 3 days. Here it is 10 days later and no refund of security deposit. They say they refunded it to an expired card which is no longer in the system. I called my banking facility for that card and they said the transaction never was processed. Lake and Trail are now refusing to fix the refund mistake shorting me $50 security deposit. Their office is closed a lot and the manager talks only via cell phone and has been of no help whatsoever. Not very professional.
