I called miller's to come and look at my A/C was not working they came and diagnosed my system told me I had a leak in the system the estimate was around $1,000.00 I told them to fix it. They fixed it in a timely matter my wife and I was happy with the service. they don't make out paper bills anymore. He showed me the amount on the phone he said they could mail me one or send an email i said send me an email. The next day got the invoice I was very surprised when I looked it over, they still charge me for a service call $95.00 I emailed and ask why I was being charged for service when I authorize them to do the job? this is their answer. Good morning, Anthony! I am reaching out to clear up any questions in regard to service work performed at your home . The service call is a flat fee that includes the complete diagnostics of the system to identify the issue and from there, the service technician is able to quote you a price on any additional repairs that are needed. The service fee is not waived upon quote acceptance. I might encourage you to look into the benefits of becoming a planned service contract customer that would get our eyes on the system a couple of times a year and include a 15% on any repairs throughout the year. We just bought this house and the system was old and spent. We knew this going in. We received 3 quotes from Miller on a Wednesday. Each quote was explained in detail. We were very happy with the middle quote. We were told work would start next week, most likely. I gave my deposit, happy with my choice. Work actually started on Friday. It took all day, but wow, the system is big and strong. New duct work was installed. The workers were professional. They cleaned up after themselves. They checked everything. The system is better than I thought it would be. I would strongly recommend Miller. read more

I've called Miller's a few times now to check on issues with my AC. Each time, the tech has been knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They show up on time and have been really gracious about my noisy dogs. Unfortunately, they don't work with my home warranty company and they are a little pricier; but based on the businesses my home warranty company chooses, I guess you get what you pay for. I first contacted Millers Central air in early 2012. I needed a new AC unit for a house I had purchased. I had heard good things about them and they were an authorized Trane dealer. I purchased a Trane system from them at that time and have had them exclusively service it a few times over the years. I was pleased enough with their service I investigated them for other houses I own but they were outside their service area. My experiences this week changed my view dramatically and I am unlikely to use their services again. On Monday morning I called because the fan of my air handler failed. I was informed there was a team working the next day in the next town about ten minutes away and they could get someone there after 1 PM the next day. I was told to call in the morning to get a better time frame. As instructed, I called Tuesday morning and was told that the technician would be at my house between 1 and 2 PM. I was some distance away and left at 11 AM and drove 90 minutes from my location to the house to be sure I was there on time. Shortly after 2, when they had not arrived, I called to ask about the status and was told they would call the technician and call me back. 30 minutes later, after no call, I called again and was told they were not able to get ahold of the technician and would try the other person and would call me back. 30 minutes later, again after no call, I called again and was told they were still unable to get ahold of the technician and would dispatch someone else. Finally at 4:20 someone arrived. He indicated he was the service manager. He spent a few minutes to confirm it was the fan motor and told me that it was covered by warranty and that for $234 (to cover delivery and installation) they could install a new one the next day depending on what time they could get the part. He informed me that I would also be charged $84 for the "Service call" to confirm my fan was not working. He was hopeful but unsure they would be able to get the part by morning, I asked that he confirm they could get the part and call me by 8 AM as It is a 90 minute ride for me to get there. He assured me he would call by 8. I never received a call. I called at 7:30 AM and got an answering service. At 8:15, again after no call, I called and was told that the part did arrive and they would be at my house sometime after 9:30 AM. I then had to rush from my location to get there close to the appointment time. I conveyed that their customers time was important and that if you tell someone you are going to do something, like call them, you really should and explained how disrespectful their treatment was and the importance of being honest with their customers. I suggested a reduction (not an elimination) in the $84 service would help me believe that they truly strive for "100% satisfaction". They would not even consider it. I asked and was told that their definition of "100% satisfaction" merely meant that I would be cool. In my opinion, performing the task I am paying for is the minimal expectation, not anywhere near 100% satisfaction. It is clear to me that their definition does not include treating me honestly and respectfully. I would suggest to potential customers what they ask what is meant by 100% satisfied and if your time and frustration level have value and are important to you that you may need to consider a vendor which is respectful of their customers time and dignity. read more

Shortly after purchasing a 39 year old home in their service area in fall of 2017, the 25+ year old two zone AC units conked out. Being new to the area I got 3 estimates. Miller Central Air won my business. I received my estimate within thirty minutes versus 1 to 3 days for other 2 companies. At my request, install was a total gut of old systems. It involved removing all hardware, vent piping, wiring, etc. It was planned out to be a 2 day install. Being a 2 zone AC unit job, it involved replacement of 2 compressors, 2 air handlers, all new vent tubing plus adding an addition 6 new vents & piping for newly converted square footage. 80% of install was completed on 1st day with remainder next morning. Several service trucks arrived 1st day with more arriving later in the day as backup. Both units were fully functional on 1st day. The crew arrived at 8am and departed around 9pm. Incredible dedication to their craft. Due to a renovation 1 of the outdoor compressors had to be relocated 10 ft from its former spot. It was no problem for them and it was completed within 3 hours. The relo involved a new hurricane concrete pad, new electrical to main and underground digging for other lines. They offered wonderful customer service, great craftsmanship, value and trustworthiness. They even just recently called about yearly maintenance. read more

Don't fix anything and make promises that they don't keep! I spent 600.00 on a New coil to have them install it wrong created a leak that ruined my floor and now the whole unit doesn't work tried working with them only to get a run around ! read more

Miller's is the best. They are very service oriented. The company Extraordinaire damaged my new unit and charged me even under warranty. Millers came out and made my unit up to Florida Code. read more

I discovered that my AC was leaking and causing lots of mold. I called Miller's Central Air, and they came by the SAME day. The repairman was friendly and efficient and had the problem solved in less than an hour. The cost was very reasonable. Will be the first to call if I ever have an AC problem again. read more

Very happy with the tech who came out he was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. He wore shoe covers and explained everything he did.
