During this process another tech brought a bigger machine - afterhours. Then he correctly diagnosed the problem - the city line was plugged. Zach talked to the city dispatcher (Saturday @ 8 pm) and then left. Was stunned the bill was reduced to $100 (afterhours callout fee), Zach said "We didn't fix it you don't pay" Was shocked when a Huntsville Public Works truck showed up 2 hours later (10 pm on Saturday) and used 750 psi to unclog the sewer line. However, when I called again today, June 6, I was informed that I would have to wait until Monday because only the manager is able to scan and process incoming packages. What has made this experience even more frustrating is that while I was explaining my concerns over the phone, the employee I spoke with chuckled during the conversation. Whether intentional or not, it came across as dismissive and unprofessional given the situation. I have used this location in the past because it is convenient and I have generally trusted their service. However, this experience has left me questioning that decision. Had I known my phone would be damaged during the repair and that the resolution would take nearly a week, I likely would have chosen another repair provider, even if it cost more. What should have been a relatively quick repair has instead become a lengthy and frustrating process.
