Not only did my cousin not contract COVID, but the COVID rate in general at the facility was extremely low to non-existent. I often speak to Kathy and/or Diane when I have questions or concerns and they could not be more helpful and patient. I also talk to the staff when I visit, and they are always friendly and keep me informed as to my cousin's ups and downs. They truly appear to enjoy their job. They treat everyone with a warm and professional manner. I have been a patient there starting in 2014 before a surgical procedure in 2016 and then after the surgery as well. I am now an After Care patient where I am not treated with hands on treatment but am supervised by the physical therapists who have taught me how to exercise so that I main remain pain free and strong. I am charged a very nominal fee out of pocket. I find Dell the Administrative Assistant very cheerful and easy to coordinate appointments with. It is always wonderful to be treated with a smile and made to feel welcome. I have and will continue to recommend Kessler in Wayne to anyone with confidence they will receive the best care possible. On the first day I was evaluated and a thorough plan for treatment was developed. I attended three sessions per week for four weeks, each time feeling the friendliness professionalism and interest in my care from the excellent staff. My primary therapist, Keith, continually evaluated and updated the exercises, while also keeping the tone positive and fun. Every staff person there that I encountered was helpful, knowledgeable, positive and easy to work with. My progress was awesome and I feel like my knee is as good as new now. I am glad to have found this place and highly recommend this location.

Also this Rehab did NOT give my mom a shower Mondays and Thursday even after complaining night after night!!!! "IF" I did NOT complain to the RN in person, this Rehab would NOT have given my mom one, UNACCEPTABLE!!! You need to provide your own camera! Guardian Montville Adolescent Center truly changed my life in ways I can't fully put into words…read more From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported by an incredibly warm and genuine community. While no place is perfect, the dedication and care from the entire staff here set Guardian apart. Nurses, doctors, behavioral techs, clinical staff, kitchen staff, and even the higher level administrators, everyone here genuinely wants to see you succeed and will help you every step of the way IF you're willing to put in the effort. Acceptance was not an easy feat but they guided me in the right direction. I will never forget the staff here, NEVER. Oh and the food is fire, this isn't some rehab or institutional facility food. It's all healthy, good for you, and tastes good, like the program itself. Words can't capture the depth of my gratitude; an infinite amount wouldn't be enough. Thank you, Guardian, for not giving up on a lost cause and for helping me find a new path. If you're looking for a place with a supportive, compassionate community that truly believes in your potential, this is it. I truly believed I was a lost cause and Guardian has given me memories, friends, coping skills, insight, knowledge, and wisdom that will last a lifetime. I will never forget my time at Guardian. I didn't even know this level of emotional regulation and coping skills was possible. This place turned a complete lost cost into something so great I can't even explain. It works if you work it and you're worth it. This is place, every client I've talked too (which is a total of 23) has said something along the lines of "this is the best facility I could've gone to" or "this is the best facility I've too" The reviews here aren't lying, this is SO IT. I'm the longest stay ever at Montville Adolescent center being 49 days, which is beyond the minimum program stay (usually) and it was so bittersweet leaving. If I can have this good of a time sober in a rehab, then the world is my oyster. I know most kids don't want to end up here. All I'm saying is that to the parents consider: you don't know me, but personally if a person like ME, in the position I was in can feel this, there's hope. I was a lost soul on a death march looking for connection and peace of mind and I found out I was looking for sobriety. Drugs weren't my problem, drugs were my solution. I worked HARD on my problems and found better solutions. For people who constantly numb all negative emotions this is a Herculean task, but the environment I was in let me open up and experience all of that pain. Like I said It works if you work it and you're worth it. I'm starting New Pathways which is the Partial Program that's under the Guardian umbrella. My dear mother, recently celebrated her 90th birthday, on her special day, we had a very lovely, beautiful pink themed birthday party with a large pink rose themed cake, massive pink balloons, a large banner, Frank Sinatra music playing in the background in a private reserved area. She even was presented with a pink tiara and birthday slash! The majority of the other residents from her unit attended, plus some family members and staff, were all sang happy birthday to her and celebrated my Mom! Earlier in the day, my Mom and a dear girl friend of hers, we had a ladies lunch in a private dining room, where they set up a very elegant table for her birthday. The overall attention to detail, level of kindness and excitement for her birthday, really made her day! My Mom said to me, "The party was quite memorable and one the best weekends, she has had in a long time." Recently, on one of my many trips to her facility, my Mom shared with me, "This place feels like home, it's so homey here, everyone is very caring and it's so clean too." As the only daughter who lives quite far away, to hear and know that your loved one, in this case, my dear Mom, is taking care for and over all very happy at this stage in her life, is truly a gift. Also, I would like to add, whenever her friends and or my good friends and their spouses or parents come visit her, they always consistently remark to me, " How clean, bright decorative the facility is and how welcoming the staff is to them." In fact, they only have praise for this facility, each time they visit. Care One at Wayne, in my opinion, what makes this particular facility so caring (excuse the pun) is that the staff on-site, they all take tremendous pride, professionalism and up most care towards their residents. I am so grateful that my Mom is very content and well taken care of, this in itself is truly priceless, and the best gift of all!

Patients are neglected by the aides, and the nursing management staff likes to use the narrative that the patient is confused when they are not. You have to beg for showers, as aides just say "not today" and then tell the nurses the patient refused the shower. This place might look pretty, but the level of neglect is off the charts.

The girls at the front desk are lovely, friendly and very knowledgeable, the chiropractors are extremely helpful and I as I said not only is Dr. Greg wonderful but the rest of his staff as well including Stephen, Gabe, Michele, and the future doctor Adrian.
