A Thai restaurant in a very small town in very rural NW North Dakota? Really? How could it be? Well...yes, as unusual as it is, this restaurant is the real deal. Don't be put off by the exterior. After all, you're here for the food...and it's outstanding! Really! I've eaten at Thai restaurants in LA, SF, Seattle, NYC, and many places in between. I've eaten at Thai restaurants in Singapore and Thailand itself. The food in little restaurant is as good as the best I've had. They serve Japanese beer because they can't get Thai beer here. They have a nice selection of beers including American and Mexican beers. They even have soju. My party started with Thai dumplings. They were delicious. I ordered chicken cashew nut curry at spice level 4. (The scale is 1-5.) It was perfect. Even the rice was perfect. I also sampled the yellow curry and drunken noodles with shrimp and chicken. Both were excellent. Last but not least: the service was good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Go out of your way. It's worth the drive. read more

A pleasant surprise to find a Thai restaurant in Tioga, ND! My, how that place has evolved... Went there for lunch with two colleagues; nice ambience/decor, a full-size bar too for after-hours meet-greet. The place was clean and we were welcomed and seated right away. Service through tour was friendly and prompt. Ordered Spring Rolls and Chicken Wings for appetizers and Tofu Red Curry, Shrimp Pad Thai, and Pork Pad See Yew for mains. Food arrived promptly and was steamy hot. Spice level 3 was a bit disappointing though as it was not spicy at all as previous diners had warned. Plus others had called the place "Sugar Thai" due to the apparent sweetness of dishes. This turned out to be true for us as well. While the food was flavorful, it was distinctly sweeter than comparable dishes we have had round the world. Portion size was plentiful. Pricing was rather high; $100 for two appetizers, three drinks - two bottles of iced tea and a club soda, and 18% tip. Overall, pleased to see variety in Tioga - give this place a try. read more

Jeabs is a hidden gem in Tioga. The restaurant is small and unassuming, but the food, service, and ambiance are anything but. I was greeted by Fame, the delightful bartender, who recommended the pineapple curry. I'm so glad I took her advice! The curry was flavorful and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice and sweetness. The food was not the only highlight of my evening. The service was excellent. Fame and the other staff members were attentive and friendly, and they made me feel right at home. The folks at our job site couldn't stop talking about this place and I can see why. Great job, and now that they have a full bar I'll be stopping by all the time. read more

Food is ok. The panang was super soupy its supposed to be gravier it was bland and was rushed. The Pad Thai combo was also average. They're the only Asian restaurant in the area, so good luck. read more
