Jeannette has been a great personal trainer.  She is very good at explaining proper form, making sure you get the most out of each exercise and avoid injuries.  She's focused more on long-term results and habits than immediate gains. Jeannette is always on time and prepared.   She is knowledgeable, funny, and thorough.  During the COVID-19 stay home order, she checked in to make sure I was working out and offered suggestions for in-home workouts.   The gym that she trains at is older, but the equipment is well-maintained and it is never crowded.  The gym owner is great. Everyone I've seen in the gym is nice, but totally focused on their workout. I prefer it to the chain gym near my house. read more

Jeannette is hands down the best trainer I have come across. She takes the time to understand your goals, circumstances as it pertains to reaching your goals and tailors the personal sessions as well as home regiments to fit your needs. She is professional, has an amazing personality and does the right balance of pushing you enough to kick your butt into shape! I trained with her for over a year while she was living in LA and was selfishly very sad to have her move to Michigan. It has been hard finding a replacement because Jeanette truly set the bar high to have anyone come close to replacing her. Jeannette is not your normal personal trainer. I kept working out and seeing no results until I met Jeannette. I've had other trainers, but all they did was push me and push me until I ended up hurting myself; Crossfit!!!! cough cough. She is never on her cell phone like the other trainers I've had. I pay for my time with my trainers, use your cell phone on your own time not mine!!! One thing I hate most is them taking out there cell phone during my time, which I am paying for. She is knowledgable of body mechanics which trainers I've ran into don't have and was able cut my work out time in half. You don't have to workout hard or for long hours like I use to think. Not everyone is an athlete. I don't want to bulk up, I just want to be healthy without hurting myself. I lost 30lbs and living great. She helped me change my eating habits and live a more active life style. I am living healthier and stronger than ever. I never pictured myself running 3 miles or even the 5k Torrance turkey trot, but I can now due them easily thanks to Jeannette. Thank you for improving my life physically and mentally. read more

I've worked out with many trainers over the years but Jeannette is the only one I've stuck with for the long haul. I worked out with Jeannette about five years before she moved to MI and even on days were I dreaded working out I ended up loving it! Jeannette makes you feel comfortable, like working out with a friend. But don't get me wrong, she's still kicking your butt even when you're chatting! She always had something positive to say and I felt good both mentally and physically after each session. I trained with Jeannette for about 10 years. Only one word comes to mind AWESOME!!!! She is such a knowledgable Personal Trainer. When i would go in for my workout she was always prepared and ready for you. Before any workout she would always make sure you were ok, no injuries or problems. If you did have a injury she quickly would know how to modify and still give you a excellent workout. She was always so motivating and encouraging but don't get me wrong she was tough!! Jeannette Rocks! My wife started training with her a few months before our wedding so she would be in tip top shape on our wedding day, feeling great and looking AMAZING in her dress. Mission BEYOND accomplished. My wife was a lean mean marrying machine. She even broke up a few fights at our reception and physically threw some folks out. Really! Not really. I'm just kidding. She did look fantastic though. Later on we decided to train together with Jeannette. Cute right? NOT CUTE. Workouts with Jeannette are NOT CUTE. They are TOUGH. Lots of grunting and grimacing. I was skeptical because I push myself pretty hard at the gym... I do plenty of grimacing on my own time... but I needed a change. I wanted to add some variety. I had been doing roughly the same weight training routine for years and I was ready to shake things up a bit. Jeannette shook it up alright. She kicked my friggin BUTT. In the most awesome way possible. Every time I had a session with her, she had a new and unique set of exercises for me to do. I never did the same thing twice... but I was certainly working out harder and more efficiently than I ever thought possible. I'm really sad she left LA.
