Walked in and needed to purchase some flowers for my wife for our 4th anniversary. I usually come to this shop about twice a year, VDay and Anniversary. Well the experience there was pleasant. I viewed the catalog, and the lady at the desk who might be the owner helped me. I selected my $190 arrangement and left feeling like this was going to be a great setup for my wife (favorite color, big arrangement...etc). 2 days later my flowers are delivered on time at my house, but very early so I had to wake up out of bed and receive them (no problem, I'm excited, it's my anniversary). The delivery lady was already in her car and leaving before I could even acknowledge the arrangement and what I received. WOW, it was not what I ordered to the slightest. It literally looks like a bush with a dozen (not 18 like I ordered) roses sticking out. There is no other color to the arrangement like the picture showed before I decided. At least my balloons were right. Now, before I could even call or say anything, a lady called me shortly after delivery to tell me that my arrangement wasn't right. Well at least you acknowledge it. THANK YOU!! But, you gave me a $39 discount. Really?? I would've rather you had fixed the arrangement to my order specs. This is a special day for a special woman in my life, and I trusted you for the last 6 spending lots of $ on balloons and flowers every year. I have some time to find a new shop now. The arrangements earn me plenty of brownie points with the girlfriend because they are always so beautiful. This place also takes payments for gas, water, and other utility bills, I went in on 12/26/2017 to make my Edison payment for $62.02 when I got to the window the clerk was an older lady with long black hair she immediately said we don't take pymts with cash and rolls of dimes and quarters? And she said it with a mean smirk on her face! I replied what if I open the rolls in front of you? She snapped back saying we had problems before with that? I responded with money?? And she said we don't take that!! Very rude and horrible customer service! I do not recommend this place for anybody! So, I used to use Jeans a lot... it was my go-to place for flowers in Yucaipa. I went in today to see if they could do a super simple greenery headband for me for my bridal shower tomorrow.... and they were SO rude and not helpful!! The said head bands started at $55 and that was just for baby's breath. I asked if I could substitute some of the baby's breath for greens, and they seemed almost annoyed that I was asking for that. Which seems like a pretty simple/straight forward request to me. I ended up leaving, called another local flower shop which was SUPER kind and helpful.... said they could do exactly what I wanted and only charged $40! I will not go to Jeans anymore. Felt the need to write a review because obviously things have changed and this is no longer the sweet, helpful, amazing little flower shop it used to be! Don't waste your time he **Update after Owner's Response** Funny how the owners twist things in their response (see below) to make it seem that this experience wasn't as bad as it was. This is a perfect example of horrible costumer service. In my experience "the customer is always right" ... but even know, the owners of this business can't just simply state that they were wrong and apologize. Instead they attempt to place the blame on the customer. I promise I am not exaggerating or falsifying anything about how my experience was. I think it's funny that they even said I quoted the wrong price that they gave me! It's actually kind of comical to watch them try to back pedal. Jeans: my advise, just admit you made a mistake, own it and move it.... don't be childish. Jean's is a local florist who is part of the Telaflora network. We usually order our flowers from Jean's or Hockridge in Redlands just depending on which is closer or open when we need our order. They have always done excellent work on bouquets for friends/family and the unfortunate graveside flowers we take to our deceased loved ones. They are always willing to work with you on your vision while making it fit within your budget. I placed a flower delivery to be delivered on the same day for my moms birthday. After taxes and delivery fee, the total was $200.36. I ordered one of the biggest flower arrangements they had, and got what seemed to be one of the smallest. I did everything online and never spoke to anyone over the phone, so at least it got delivered under the circumstances we're in with this "covid-19" quarantine. What was delivered looked NOTHING like the picture. Not even close! Extremely disappointed and will never order from here again. $200 order and I got what should've been a $75 order, if that! I also added a balloon which was almost $6 and they delivered what seemed to be a balloon bought from the dollar tree, along with the flowers. Apparently I had a very expensive dollar tree visit that I just didn't know about! If you're looking for a good flower delivery, 1800-flowers is the best to use. This has got to be the worst florist. So incident 1, my work sent a bouquet for my grandpas passing. It was never delivered. My work called them they said they delivered, not wanting to lose the corporate business they said they would resend. I received a small house plant not a bouquet. 2nd incident. My mom ordered flowers for my birthday specifically roses and Lillie's. She specifically said no carnations. What delivered a day later than it was scheduled was a pink carnation bouquet with 3 roses and dying daisies and a Happy Anniversary pick to top it off. The card printed says Happy Birthday. So this is just a sloppy florist who just sends whatever is about to expire. Don't expect to get anything close to what you ordered. read more
