We requested for a large amount of items to be taken away through Yelp. What surprised me was they did came out the same day we contacted them! There was a misunderstanding on our part and didn't know the difference in bricks vs pavers but JEDI was still able to haul them away. We felt bad because pavers are heavier and cost more, but the owner still honored the price we were originally given. We offered to pay more to make it right but the owner declined and still did the job. The owner is new and I always value small business owners and small businesses. We called Jedi Junk last week to remove some junk from inside our house. Their prices were reasonable, but not the cheapest. We needed a couch and chairs moved. After they left we noticed a scrape and plaster damage on our hallway. When called they said they didn't do it, and offered no compensation. My neighbors actually hired this company to remove a cinder block wall and dispose of the debris. Steve, Carlos, Adrian, and Kurtch (sp?) were great. Ultimately the project was more difficult than the homeowners had understood, because there was poured concrete at the base of the cinder blocks. A manager, Chad, was called to come to the property figure out the best way to remove it. He came to my door and was immediately defensive and rude with me about how low they needed to take the poured concrete, as it's extremely difficult to get out even with a jack hammer. As a note, this is a fence encroaching on my property that the homeowners are having removed, so I didn't even hire this guy. I told him he was being a bit hostile, but let's go outside and see what he's talking about. When we get to the back, he continues to be rude and disrespectful, expressing anger that he had to drive 2 hours out here because the homeowners didn't tell him about the poured concrete in the quote. He continually interrupted me as I tried to explain that the fence is encroaching, and all the concrete needs to be removed. He even suggested a passive aggressive, petty solution to just chip away concrete to the right of the rebar in the original fence, until he finally listened and realized that the fence is not on the property line, so it all needs to come out. I had to repeatedly ask him to be more respectful to both myself and the homeowners, as they didn't understand this when they booked the demolition, and because mistakes happen. He then took the homeowners aside to discuss how much more it would be and our interaction ended. Ultimately, they were not able to get all of the poured concrete broken down and hopefully I can just cover it up. The other 4 guys were kind and respectful, cleaned up the property nicely and kept me in the loop, but I would certainly not allow Chad on my property again. For someone who is supposed to be managing the projects, he should ask for more detailed images and/or come out to do a quote next time, not be aggressive with the owners for not knowing about the poured concrete. read more

This company showed up on time and were very skilled at packing the most items possible in the truck (a game of Tetris literally) both times (needed two trucks). Chad and Carlos were amazing today! We have a large storage unit full of stuff including 19 filing cabinets. I was certain that all of it wouldn't fit when they arrived but they assured me it would and they were right. They worked their butts off hauling all of our junk up a steep incline to the street where their truck had to stay because of the location of our storage unit. I sent a video and photos of the junk to be removed. I was quoted a much lower price over the phone. It was 2.5 times higher in person. I was also charged a $50 "heavy load", which was never mentioned over the phone. Basically up charged on normal "junk". Also, they do NOT sweep up after like many of the other companies in the area do. Even when they make a mess, leaving debris and nails in the driveway.
