A hidden gem in Frogner! I saw this on my bus route coming back from Bygdoy and wanted to try something new. It didn't disappoint. We walk in and was promptly greeted and decided to order an appetizer, the Lumpiang Sariwa, which is a fresh egg roll in sweet peanut butter sauce. It was amazing. The next course included Kare Kare steak, which is a tasty steak served with rice, eggplant, green beans, in a sweet sauce. Such a great pairing of sweet, and savory. We also ordered the Sisig. This was a pork dish served on a sizzling platter with rice and topped off with an egg! Who doesn't love an egg! For dessert, we had the Halo Halo, which is a cold dessert which is a concoction of crushed ice, evaporated milk and various ingredients including, among others, sweetened beans, coconut julienes, and other goodies. Overall, the food and staff was amazing. We will come back again for sure! read more
