His self-assurance means he is very much focused on his students and not himself. The academy is very clean, well lit and ventilated, all in all a pleasant place to be. Students at multiple belt levels of all shapes, sizes and ages. Female friendly with quite a few female students. Safe environment with hard training if that's what you want but no out-of-control egos. Jorge teaches all of the classes himself. Academy rules are moderately formal with emphasis on respect, cleanliness and safety. Academy vibe is very friendly with kids classes and young kids generally present during class time. Jorge welcomes questions and students are free to move around for a better view as techniques are demonstrated. Location is super convenient, right off I-95 in Boynton. Plenty of classes with a nice open mat early on Saturday.

The entire team takes great care of them. They love the lessons and are learning amazing skills. We have also done Saturday morning family classes, which are an outstanding way to connect with your kids. They tried 6 different camps, and this was by far their favorite. One day, my daughter wanted starburst for breakfast. I said I wouldn't sign her healthy eating chart and she wouldn't get a stripe from her coaches. She decided she wanted eggs instead . Coaches will reinforce positive habits and are always willing to talk to the kids about right and wrong. Occasionally, they offer a free women's self defense course on Saturday. I participated and it was amazing! Learned several good strategies that I never would have thought to do. Hope they keep doing it! They have a variety of classes for everyone throughout the day.
