There's a walking path, playgrounds, frisbee area, places to sit down and nice bridge over the water to walk. If you're a dog owner, be aware that not all dogs are on a leash. Other visitors let their dogs run all over the place with no concern for other people, other dogs, or kids.

We didn't stay here super long as I started getting anxious about the long drive back home. It's a public park. Free parking. There was a playground. A decent sized lake. Walking/running path. I stopped here mainly because the Comanche National Museum and Cultural Center is just a few hundred yards away. Go touch grass! Your brain and heart will thank you.

It had gotten rundown after all wood only last so long. They voted to refurbished the park and this is what they ended up with. This is nice as well almost as nice lake Helen Park. I love all of the seating, has canopies over it for people to sit and they've got all kinds of equipment. The kids can play on climb on and explore. Young kids to old people are hanging out here. It's for everyone. There's just so much nice wide open room that you don't feel crowded here there's trash cans by everything where you could throw your trash away after you're done snacking or drinking or whatever you happen to be doing at the time but the nice thing about the Kidzone is it so wide open you can see everything now I cannot wait until summer to see how the little miniature splash pad is. They also have the tennis courts and a basketball goal for you to play basketball.

Description: The OU Duck Pond inside Brandt Park runs the length of the park to the north and south on the western side. The park has numerous trees and a large grassy area, mostly on the eastern side. It's extremely peaceful and tranquil. There are a few benches close to the pond and a stone walking bridge across the pond. The pond has moss over a portion of it, making it look like an English countryside. The main attraction is, of course, the ducks and the pond. The ducks are sharing it with the geese, who at times can get out of hand; as one was running after two of it's own when they came onto land into his space. History: The Park was named after the sixth President of OU, Joseph August Brandt, who was the only alumnus to serve as President. It has a nice playground, plenty of swings, a climbing dome, and some musical instruments to play. There is a large gazebo that would be perfect for having a picnic! Right beside the park there are some water activities, but we haven't checked those out yet so I can't comment on those. The only thing I'm not impressed with are the bathrooms...very simple, not very clean, and I don't recall seeing any soap, although I could have missed it. Just be aware of the Canadian geese, they had new babies (my visit was in May) so they're a bit squaky. No one chased me, thank goodness- although that may have made my walks time shorter if I ran. I got over 25 zone minutes on my Fitbit, that's a win! Living healthy is a struggle but I try to fit it in between restaurant reviews!!
