I had visited Reeder many years ago, and was completely amazed at the quality of his used and rebuilt pianos, but that was before all that shopping, and 10 or 15 years ago. Was his work really that good? I returned, and there on the shop floor was a gorgeous rebuilt 100-year-old Mason-Hamlin BB! I couldn't stop playing it, even though I loved several other pianos he had there. I might have bought it, but it was black and the one I own is mahogany and matches my other furniture, so I sent my mahogany monster off to him for rebuilding, trusting him to do as beautiful a job on mine as the one in the shop. My trust was well-placed. I have had the piano back for a year now; plenty of time for defects to become apparent. There have been none. I am completely delighted with the work, from the finish to the tone to the action. The regulation is where most rebuilt pianos disappoint, and this has been absolutely spectacular. After hundreds of hours of playing, it remains wonderfully responsive, even and easy to play. Mr. Reeder has a small crew of long-time employees, but insists on transporting the pianos himself and observing the local moving crew. My 1100-lb piano made it from Lansing, Michigan to Chicago and up to my 3rd floor apartment without a hitch. I'm sure Mr. Reeder's presence had something to do with that.

They had availability , came with 3 guys who were very nice and courteous. They took great care of our items unloading at the house and storage unit. I would definitely use them again.

I personally did not have a good experience with this moving company. They were an hour and a half…read morelate and did not call the notify me. I had to call multiple times the morning of my move after multiple confirmations prior. They told me they had no move prior to me that day and showed up with a rented truck and very few pads to wrap my furniture, which were requested in advance multiple times prior to my move. The owner was the only effective mover. He brought two others workers and I literally ran circles around one of them, as he put his monster energy drink on my antique furniture multiple times. It was very frustrating to watch the crew move my items, bumping into walls, set drinks on my furniture and not wrap my furniture, as requested prior to moving items. I had much better success with the big companies that are local movers. The prices were also better with other moving companies. When they went to close out my transaction at the end of my move, they forgot about my $100 initial deposit as well as miscommunicated the dollar amount giving me multiple prices. I will not use this company again and was not pleased with my experience.

He came out and we booked the day, he understood, we just didnt have a quote, he was to come back…read moremaybe and look at boxes, but he saw the stuff, he said its this much an hour for 3 guys or something like that (talking to 10 people today about moving lately since they blew us off), but we did said ok and told him yes, he wrote down in his book etc. Like he was jotting down the date, he took the addresses etc. Now they are not coming. No idea, no replies since they said they are booked after i called for him to confirm, hes mexican/spanish and maybe a language barrier?, but we understood he was coming. We understood he wrote down all the information and noded yes to us, etc. 2nd star is that he was a nice guy, but, not sure what happened and now we are all messed up trying to find other people. Messaging system is full, for days, couldnt get ahold of him, two days no replies to text. Then they are full. Slam dunked us hard really, just not gonna let it get me down. Hopefully it wont get you also.
