We stumbled upon the business on a weekend getaway to the area, and were immediately impressed with the showroom area (as well as the workroom) and how efficiently everything seemed to be laid out. We saw a prototype of a pillow with a fabric that we absolutely loved, so we placed an order that same day. The turnaround time for receipt of product was very quick, and when our pillows arrived, we were completely impressed with the quality of the work - from the layout and centering of the main graphic image, to the very nice piping/edging around the border which really elevates the pillows from those most commonly available on various internet websites. While we were in the showroom we saw some examples of the quality of workmanship in some of the finished upholstered items and felt assured we would be receiving a high-end, quality product, and we were not disappointed. We heartily recommend Sullivan Mercantile for any of your future fabric and/or upholstery needs, and we're looking forward to working with them again in the very near future.

We'd be broke. We have bought furniture, outdoor signs, many lamps, a number of old appliance or kitchen-type items, and never go that we don't find a number of things we like. The perfect blend of antique and rustic. Sadly, they are only open on Friday and Saturday and by coincidence, tend to be closed on the weekends we can get there (like this one). Gives us something to look forward to. The only con is the location. Off the beaten path and if you didn't know it was there, you'd have little reason to travel that road.

My family and I make a few visits while we are up here every year for Christmas, and it's always such a joy coming here. Knowing not only are we getting fresh quality ingredients, but everything is local to the family farm. The ice cream sandwiches are one of our favorites along with the jugs of chocolate milk, smooth, fresh and ohh so delicious. Along the way, you might run into one or two farm friends who went straying into the roadways.
