Thursday, Feb. 6th's tornado, had roughly touched our sm. area of Rickman TN. It threw a huge old Cherry tree, which ripped off my deck roof and rested dangerously on my mobile home's roof! The whole fence row, trees and all, were thrown in my yard and that of my neighbor's. Livestock ran and were misplaced! It was no small disaster. I felt devastated! Thank God, Jeff Mainer was sent to me that very next morning. He has a Tree Service in Cookeville. I was in awe of how quickly and effectively he and his crew could completely, clear the devastation that my property had become! Compassion, one does not expect to see. At one point, I had opened my back door, to view the progress. In front of me, sat a broken lawn chair with my favorite little birdhouse perched on the seat! One of these men was kind enough to salvage this for me. A lovely surprise in all this sadness. I was brought to tears, not so much by its recovery, but by the fact that one of these men was compassionate enough to collect it, and set it gently aside. Another of these kind men, dug down in the rubble of wood, nails and debris of a demolished shed, to collect my late husbands favorite tool box. They were all so very kind and caring. One never expects this in the distruction. So God bless you Jeff and your wonderful crew of men, Mark, Ryan and Steven! Each of you are to be admired and appreciated. We had two trees fall during a recent storm, a 78' pine and another 33' tree. Jeff and his crew had the trees removed in less than 30 minutes and cleaned up all the mess. Amazing to watch them work...like a well-oiled machine. I would definitely recommend Jeff to anyone needing trees removed. read more

I'm a disabled veteran & was not feeling very well at the time or I wold have expressed my dissatisfaction more forcefully. Jeff gave me a price of over 3 grand. Told me that was because it was 2 full days work. Guess what, he did it in one day & expected the same money. That's called bait and switch where I come from. No wonder his 'padner' had a big grin on his face. He put gouges in my driveway that was only 10 months old. I had to tell him to stop spinning the machine the way he was. Do you think anyone would have to tell him that if it was his driveway? I expressed my thoughts on these issues and he offered no reduction in his fees. Apparently getting one over on people is an integral part of local 'culture'. read more

So happy we found them! Jeff and his team we're able to remove 5 large trees that were too close to our home and one had tangled into the power lines. But, they had all the right equipment and were very skilled at doing this. The tangled one was 'bucketed' and the remaining 4 were precisely fallen and all debris was removed and hauled away by the end of the afternoon. We are very thankful to have found them, the whole crew was very polite, professional and they worked well together to get the project done.... And the price was unbeatable! We needed to have an almost-dead tree removed from our back yard and Jeff was highly recommended by a family member. Jeff and his team cut down and remove the tree, along with several dead branches on another tree, cleared the yard and roof of our storage shed, and removed leaves and sawdust from the yard and driveway.
