Have…read morebeen with Jim Hodgens State Farm for 31 years and had a kitchen claim (water from refrigerator line) in 2022 that went into 2023 due Covid, supply chain delays and contractor back ups. Had a second claim in 2024 due to storm damage to roof (hail, wind and rain damage). That claim was denied three times even though the roof was extremely damaged. Every Home in Morris Glenn who had State Farm was denied claims due to storm damage while other homes with damages who had other insurance agents had roofs repaired. State Farm ended up accepting the claim then dropped us with no call or warning. This office didn't have the nerve to call us or email that they had dropped us. They could have said, if you file this claim we will drop you. They didn't. This was inexcusable, unprofessional and cowardly. State Farm as a company NEEDS to better. Why pay ins if they are going to drop you if you file a claim. Literally, two claims in 31 years. Called USAA immediately and got better rates and more support in one day than over 31 years with local agent (Concord) while deployed and stationed across the world while in military service for 25 years. Would not recommend State Farm or Jim Hodges' office to anyone. Most epic failure in customer support or satisfaction ever. This was inexcusable. Zero stars. Would not recommend Jim Hodges or State Farm to my worst enemy. For veterans, always go with USAA. I knew that, but I tried to support a local agent and now I see how little I and my family mattered to this agent.

Wendell did a fantastic job determining some great homes to look at, and we ended up working mostly with Cate during the escrow period up to closing. She was very proactive in getting questions answered either from services (such as home inspectors, utilities, surveyor, etc..) to the Sellers' listing agent. Communication was efficient from start to finish and I'm really happy with the results. Being in my mid-20's, I have a lot of friends, family, and co-workers who have described the home-buying process as what's seemingly a nightmare. Then they said I'd have to contact Allstate who in turn told me this company obtained the list, not the national company. If you can't trust them to do something as remove you from a mailing list, why would you trust them with your business. I personally would avoid them. Also, the arrogance of the woman who answered the phone who basically said its not their problem, in my opinion, should be fired, but its probably one of Omar's relatives.
