I attend a conversational Spanish circle on Wednesdays from 6-7. It's very informal and very helpful for me since I want to practice my Spanish on a regular basis. They also offer a conversational French session on Tuesday nights. The librarian was eager to help me, and she showed me how to navigate their website to use online resources for FREE! I love supporting my local libraries because they are such a great resource to the community and cater to a variety of interests. Notes: They have nice lounge chairs sit and work in or to read in. Large enough parking lot. The bathroom is kept tidy!

Much of my daughter's toddler life was spent having fun there. Every time I pass it, I have many fond memories of it. It was always very clean and their kitchen was huge too and super helpful when serving food. The stage area was huge and perfect for many different functions. The parking lot was pretty big, too, good for many cars. It's located on the west side area is Baton Rouge and just off the Highway 1. This is probably the smallest I had ever lived in and I remember making the fondest memories and making new and lasting friendships at that community center. This was exactly how I have always wanted a place like this to be used. It serves the best purpose for the people of the town of Addis & surrounding towns.

This place has so much potential, but the entire experience was made horrible by one person, the sound technician and building maintenance guy, Eric. He said he would be responsible for having the A/C on early to cool the building down--he did not because it was terribly hot in there. The microphones that he controlled were constantly having problems. The lighting that he controlled was horrible. He would not honor the contract and open the door timely to allow caterers access. And to top it all off, he talked down to everyone with his condescending attitude.
