I had had several MRI's before this one in a closed machine and had been able to complete them, but it was so hot in the room, and there was no cool air blowing through, that I immediately became claustrophobic and had to leave. The place itself was old, dingy, and dirty looking, and the machine looked old. If they're going to advertise the machine as open, it should be truly open on the sides, not just on the end.

Sure the doctor's I saw were great, but unfortunately the office is so crazy, busy, and rude that it doesn't really matter. They rely highly on the internet for references and making appointments, but for emergency appointments (if you are sick or whatever ) need to be made over the phone. This wouldn't be an issue if the ladies behind the desk ever picked up the phone. The last time that I went, I called 7 times and each time the person would literally pick up the phone and hang it up. When i finally got through, they kept me on hold for 35 minutes and then hung up. When I did leave a message and had someone call me back, they were very rude. I know that the healthcare system isn't the best in this country, but that doesn't warrant a bad attitude. I would avoid this office for someplace better staffed.

They insist that you have a driver to take you home (that's a good thing) but a cab will not do so make sure you have a family member or friend to drive you home or ride with you in the cab.

Dr. T. takes his medical training and experience and helps me understand CT's, MRI's, blood labs, and blends these with my subjective reports so that I have a comprehensive understanding of what my other specialists simply do not do. My recent changes of condition are unusual and don't fit the usual diagnosis and treatment plans that other neurologists, neurosurgsons, and my PCP try. THe result so far is, I continue to see these specialists but Dr. T. helps explain better and he also engages and consults with my specialists. Without Dr. T's contributions, I would feel more uncertain with less optimism of helpful pathways which might lie ahead.

He gives you options and brings you into the decision making process if there's one to be had. I recommend Dr. Tabby to everyone! Once we started seeing that my mom had symptoms of dementia, I immediately had her see Dr. Tabby because I know he'd do all he could to help her.
