My sister who lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, goes to antique auctions from time to time and came across a gorgeous 14K gold/diamond ring from the 40s or 50s and sent me a picture. I decided to buy it for my daughter having been told it was a size 6. Well, when it arrived, it was a size 4! So I called some Denver jewelers and was told it would probably cost $400-$500 to resize it and would take 4-6 weeks. That was disappointing, then I saw a review for Jeffery B. Great watch repair location! I had originally went in for a $10 battery replacement and found out the battery acid had ruined my movement. For only $50 I had the entire movement replaced which resulted in a new watch. Great customer service in-store but they could use better follow-up when the repair was finished. I ran up to Jeffery B Jewelers hoping to catch them before they closed, as I wanted to have my husband's watch links taken out as well as a battery installed. They were closed. I knocked on the door disturbing Jeffery as he was trying to close. He came to the door, and when he heard my story that my husband has past away 6 weeks ago, and that I wanted to wear his watch, and that I was leaving town for 4-5 months, he said "You just come right in." We had pleasant conversation while he worked on my watch, smiling all the time....I started to pay him, and he wouldn't let me. He's a professional jeweler, a kind and a giving person. Jeffery and Leslie are the definition of professional, polite and understanding. From the very start Jeffery actually listened to our needs. My fiancé helped design the ring (she's very artistic) and after several CAD molds we came up with the perfect ring... 19K white gold with 110 diamonds if memory serves. In tears a friend told me to go see Jeffery B Jewelers. Reluctantly I went. My center stone is a large 3 carat marquise. Which I felt was going to be a challenge to design around it. NOT FOR JEFFERY.....Jeffery redesigned the ring in time for our anniversary vacation, to our surprise. My ring looks AMAZING. My first thought was it was to beautiful to belong to me. Leslie, the other owner of this business helped me throughout the process. She told me a certain piece might not be affordable for a budget, but never to beautiful for you to own. Jeffery B Jewelers is a cute mom n pop shop. I appreciate it wasn't very big like: brand name jewelers. I appreciate I wasn't over whelmed when I walked in the door with cases upon cases of jewelry. Jeffery and his female assistant are very helpful and knowledgeable when you ask them questions. (I didn't catch his female assistant name.) I appreciate that the ring I order was processed fairly quickly; I was allowed to come back to try it on before leaving the store with it. Most amazing part was there was a little miscommunication on price and Jeffery's assistant was spot on at resolving the issue!!
