Staff is friendly and professional and Dr Hixson explained my options to make me feel comfortable (went with full extraction on top, coronectomy on bottom due to nerve ending proximity). It's where family members have been going and it helped that their office was right down the road from my children school. So they could walk into an appointment after school and I could meet them there from work. It is a bit of the pain that they're only open Monday through Thursday but usually that's not a problem. It's more just that I'm a little forgetful and forget to call them sometimes when they're open. As my children have gotten older I want them to be more mindful to communicate with me about what happened when I wasn't there yet. I appreciate that my children are older and can tell me the gist of it themselves but I want the staff to be more communicative with me directly. I don't want the risk of like in the "telephone" game ha ha. There was an instance when I had a crown done and there was some miscommunication, I felt, about the projected cost versus the actual cost and when I brought it up to them they were understanding and they worked with me.

Dr. Bluth decided I needed a root canal on tooth # 4 instead. $3,500+ later, the original tooth (tooth#2, the one that actually needed treatment), is causing massive issues. He did a root canal in the wrong, healthy tooth. This is backed by my referrals from my dentist. I'm in so much pain that I have almost gone to the ED on several occasions. (My dentist was kind enough to talk to me on his weekend and call in an antibiotic). Rocky Mountain isn't admitting fault (of course). The ladies running the show are extremely unprofessional and rude. Ella hung up on me. How's that for someone running your business? She said "I'm not welcome at any of their clinics". They cancelled an emergency appointment while I'm in so much pain. EDIT* the tooth that needed a root canal is now infected. I am on narcotics and an antibiotic. Steer clear and go ANYWHERE but here. I will be reporting Dr.Bluth to the Dental Association, the Idaho State Dental Board, and the American Association of Endodontics.

There was a sign that said check in either side of the wall so I stepped around the wall to check in on the other side and some guy behind the counter said in rude tone to go check in on the other side. I've had one visit and the people were very friendly. The front desk and getting checked in was a very good experience and she was quite lovely. I felt I got good care although I felt I did need to advocate for myself on a few minor things. I didn't want them polishing my teeth before the hygienist had completed her scaling. It is not a good practice to polish teeth before all the plaque has been removed. They have quite a few staff members that do different things. They have two hygienist and then they have assistance that do the polishing. You can request having one person do the scaling and the polishing, but they can only accommodate that on certain days due to the lack of staffing?? So for my next visit, I will have one person do it all. They were quite accommodating. I think I'm scheduled with a different dentist for my next visit. I think I will see her and see how I like her. She is newer in her career, but I feel I might like to give her a shot. The jury is still out for me. I'll update in 6 months.

This office was recommended for dental implants, but my experience was far from positive. I was…read moreanxious due to past medical trauma and PTSD. My concerns were not taken seriously. The first surgery resulted in a sinus perforation and the attempted repair was unsuccessful. This error has required three surgeries in the past year with a new practice. A request for a mild sedative before the last procedure at this office was disregarded and never prescribed. I called and I was told it was unnecessary and they would give me a mild sedative when I arrived. The nurse was rude and dismissive and the last surgery was an awful experience because I was fully aware of everything. A broken tooth was extracted to prep for an implant but it exposed a wisdom tooth that had to be removed by my new surgeon. The entire experience was not only disappointing but also traumatizing. I wish they had told me that they were not comfortable working with a nervous patient. It would have saved me the trauma.
