We asked her for help when things were pretty bad at home and school: teachers constantly complained and gave him time outs for bad behavior, we were upset and made our rules strict, reprimanded him, used lots of limitations and talks...but the situation was only getting worse. He was aggressive, didn't care about the limitations and acted out a lot. We felt desperate. Dr. Nikolskaya took her time to learn about our family, the child, and his developmental path. She explained to us that why his is acting out this way - his self esteem was getting extremely low and instead of punishment and reprimands we need to change the way we treat him. Dr. Nikolskaya didn't spare her time to explain all the nuances of his condition to us and what was the best approach to handle it. My son visited her every week. After 2 sessions I noticed a big shift - he was less aggressive, in a month - "I want to destroy the world" behavior disappeared. Another huge help from her was addressing the issue at school. She wrote letters to the school on behalf of my son to ensure he was set up for success and recommended better approach to handle misbehavior instead of time-outs that undermined my son's self esteem which led a vicious cycle of him acting out because he felt bad about himself. The school agreed to implement the necessary changes and it shifted the whole picture. Instead of time outs he was asked to do some physical activity or do breathing exercises (that he learnt with Dr. Nikolskaya!). We haven't got any complains since. I'm so grateful to Dr. Nikolskaya! She goes an extra mile for her patients and work with love in her heart! She responds quickly to any questions and doesn't save time on explaining things, giving support! Her holistic approach combines her love for kids with her clinical expertise in a way that truly helps.

This doctor's office has the most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. I have been given the complete runaround regarding my insurance coverage. My insurance company has called them twice to confirm that they are in-network, yet the office continues to insist they are out of network and they refuse to schedule an appointment. The staff is rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to do their jobs correctly. I have wasted hours trying to resolve this, only to be met with misinformation and a lack of accountability.

She couldn't even see Dr. Tseng today because apparently the front desk stopped doing their jobs before they moved locations. She was told that somehow her appointment had not been "logged in" despite the fact that we called and confirmed her next appointment a few days after the last one because the dates did not add up. That should have been my first clue. Then, as if to place blame, they asked my mother where did she get the appointment card since the one she had was different.....apparently from her last appointment when you guys supposedly still did your jobs?? Nobody apologized for wasting our time and gas, and nobody would look her in the eye, basically confirming THEIR screw-up. She was just given another card (hopefully this one is valid?) and sent on her way. We are VERY angry at the incompetence. They could at LEAST take accountability instead of acting like they did nothing wrong. That was extremely unprofessional.

The office was a mess and felt we were in a third world country. The office was rundown. When we went in the exam room it was filled with overstock supplies and smelled like it was not sanitary. The common area or communal area kitchen was so cluttered. We did not know if were in a group home. Dr. Edelman sat on his wheelchair slumped over and reviewing his computer and said very little and could not understand him. My son was so scared of him and did not want to conversate with him. With the very little information he got from us. He prescribed very high dosage seizure medication. We reviewed all the side effects and refused to give it our son. We had another opinion and they agreed with us on not moving forward with it. It could have made him in a more worse condition. We understand that he wants to help treat his patients but he needs to see his own health condition. He is not in the best health and his staff was not helpful and just there for a paycheck. It is a really sad office and for patients seeking his guidance that is no longer available or helpful to them. With deep regret, we do not recommend going to this office. Dr. Edelman needs to retire and enjoy what is left of his life. He has contributed his expertise in his early years that I am sure he was more alert and aware of the patient's needs.

He makes the to explain medical terms and anatomical functions of your conditions and best available procedures to correct the conditions. Furthermore, he is comfortable with going into greater details about how the procedure/ procedures will improve the medical conditions. I was so surprised that after decades of my mother having spinal surgeries and epidurals by traditional orthopedic surgeons, she was left is severe debilitating pain. Her only recourse was pain medication, which left her tired, sleepy, and hopeless every day. She had a L5/S1 fusion and c4/c5 herniated disk surgery, and recently was diagnosed with spondyliothis/ degenerative spine condition. To make matters worse, the L5/S1 fusion has compacted the above vertebrae and worn down the cushion in L4 to the point of bone on bone. We had been searching for a remedy for years, and we're only offered cortisone, epidurals, and ultimately fusion surgery (again), by doctor after doctor. Until.... We met Dr. Wu. In 15 minutes he explained an outpatient procedure that we had never heard of, that for the first time - actually made sense! So we gave it a try. In 15 minutes, Dr. Wu completed his recommended procedure on my mother. In 2 days, she was walking without a walking stick/ cane, not needing wheelchair assistance, not debilitated by severe pain, nor completely dependent on medications like nerve modulators, or opioid pain killers, or muscle relaxants to maintain her daily activities. A week later, I am truly amazed that his work has reduced her pain by more than 60% and now she is walking and smiling and laughing again. She has improved drastically, and now I am blessed to enjoy holding her hand while walking together - something we have not done since I was much younger. I missed so many years of this special experience with her. Thank you so much, Dr. Wu; for giving us new memories to rekindle. PS. Thank you for diagnosing and treating my bursitis. I can bend my knee again and walk without a painful limp. I had no idea the problem could be fixed so quickly and feel so much better! Sincerely, Yamina
