Update (September 2026):…read more Nine months after posting this review and exactly one day after I initiated formal legal appeal proceedings regarding the administration of a special needs trust which this firm represents, one of the business owners publicly responded: "Please remove this review." To other consumers and clients reading this firm's responses: Yelp's Terms of Service and Content Guidelines strictly prohibit business owners from pressuring, coercing, or demanding that reviewers delete or alter honest, firsthand feedback. As stated in official Yelp Support policy regarding review pressure: "Yelp stands firmly against businesses pressuring customers or paying them to change or remove reviews... Activity like this--whether initiated by businesses or consumers--violates our Terms of Service and deceptively alters a business's reputation on Yelp. We encourage consumers to stand behind their reviews as written or to update them to reflect any new information that may be useful to other consumers." A review section exists to inform the public, and the business response tool is intended for firms to offer professional context or address claims factually, similar to in a courtroom. It is not to demand the suppression of protected consumer speech. Furthermore, attempting to steer disputes offline or demanding that reviewers take down their experiences rather than providing clear, documented rebuttals is an improper attempt to deceptively sanitize a public rating. If a business owner believes a review genuinely breaches platform rules, Yelp policy requires the owner to submit an independent report through formal moderation channels demonstrating specific guideline violations. They do not have the right to order consumers to scrub honest accounts from public view. A look across this firm's public replies reveals an established pattern of demanding review removal, dismissing valid concerns, and attempting to silence critical feedback. Consumers should know that these demands violate platform standards and can be flagged directly to Yelp moderation for review manipulation. When a professional legal firm chooses aggressive attempts at reputation distortion over transparency and compliance with basic platform standards, it speaks volumes about the level of accountability and representation clients can expect behind closed doors. My reviews remain a matter of factual public record and will not be removed or altered. You can read more about these Yelp policies in the Yelp support article "What should I do if a business pressures or pays me to change or remove my negative review?"
