I recently had my water service line replaced from the meter to my house. During the project, David discovered that the boring contractor hadn't installed the new line deep enough to meet code. It would have been easy to work around it, trench through my landscaping, or simply let it go--but instead, he advocated for me. He stood his ground, insisted the boring company come back and do the job correctly, and ultimately saved me from ending up with a substandard installation. That decision cost him an entire day's work while everyone waited for the boring company to return, but he still put doing the job right ahead of simply getting paid and moving on. To top it off, when the project was finished, his final invoice came in below the high end of the estimate he had originally given me. In a world where it's common to brace yourself for surprise costs, that was a refreshing experience. If you're looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, honest, and willing to advocate for his customers instead of taking the easy way out, I can wholeheartedly recommend David's Plumbing. I was charged a $79 fee because it was "out of warranty" which granted it was by 4 months but it is also a brand new system I spent over 7k on and this type of fault shouldn't be occurring. After speaking with the office manager she said they would review my case and call me back with a decision. Today the fee was processed with no call and I am disappointed because it seems to be more about the money than common sense or good customer service.

A year ago Van Dyck techs installed a water filter system for our church. At that time, I was very…read moresatisfied with work but it was pricey. Almost one year later we had a flood in the hallway with water coming from the filter system that Van Dyck installed. The filter system had fell off the wall due to the system was screwed into the wall with no anchors, just inch and a half screws in the sheet rock. The weight of the filter system caused the filter caps to Crack flooding the mechanical room, entryway and hallway. Van Dyke came out and replaced system and charged the church 580.00. I called and spoke to someone named Derrick and told him this was shoddy work and that the church should should not have pay. He said he would investigate. I received an invoice and was told it had to be paid now. Call a second time and still waiting to hear from Derrick. If they can treat a church this way, I know others can expect the same treatment.
