The price is very reasonable when considering the options available.

My friend and I went to the gym often but wanted more of a push. We found Live Fit and couldn't be happier. We signed up for personal training there and it's been fantastic. We have similar body types and goals. It was awesome we could work out together with one trainer, which made it less intimidating in the beginning. I also love how they schedule and charge for personal training sessions. Every trainer I have had made me feel comfortable, not judged and pushed me. I feel like they really effort into thinking what workout to do for each client. I did personal training in the past and felt like I spent more time following the trainer from machine to weights to machine than actually working out. We also participated in Live Fits XGT class which is an amazing workout. Due to time constraints I am going back to focusing on personal training. If you've ever thought about getting in shape but you have no idea where to even start give Live Fit a call.

Thanks to her, I'm half the woman I once was a few months ago (see profile photo for "before" photo- I'm a size 6 (!) now). Not only is she really supportive and nurturing in her approach to personal training, but she also has a Masters degree in Body Physiology which makes her very knowledgable in how to safely train her clients (again, important because I had to learn how to exercise in a way that maximizes my ability and minimizes stress). She has worked as a personal trainer for a number of years through hospitals and has only as recently as this past Spring begun an independent practice and taking on clients. Her pricing is extremely reasonable for the breadth and depth of her knowledge and experience. Not only does help you reach your own fitness goals, but she also helps with diet and other considerations necessary to achieve a healthy lifestyle. I feel stronger and healthier than I ever have, and I'm even planning on running in a race this fall! With Julie, I got much more than just a personal trainer, I feel as though I have a lifestyle coach providing one-on-one, customized sessions. They allowed kids to come to the gym at one time and made sure they charged me for it and set up accounts for them, then changed the policy on it months later and had the nerve to come to me and my son while I started working out..to inform us of the policy change while kicking us out. Doesn't sound like the family atmosphere they try to brand. Sadly I have been loyal to this gym through the beginning but they have let all of the dedicated staff go over time do to bad management and not paying trainers. It's unfortunately all a game to get you and your kids training sessions, it's definitely not about treating their customers with respect. Never trust the owner Keith to do the right thing. Most Times it's all about money, not the customer.

2019 was the first year in 20 years that losing weight was not a New Years Resolution! I had 45…read morepounds that would not get lost, and I tried everything from A-Z with regard to both diet and exercise. I joined OTF in April 2018, and am I ever glad I did. Not only did I lose the 45 pounds, but at 52 I am stronger and in better health than I have been...well ever. Are the workouts challenging? Yep! BUT, the coaches are great and they show you how to start at your own pace and you naturally get stronger and are able to do more. There are people in class who must be in their upper 70's and people who look like they might be professional athletes, but no one judges you, everyone is supportive, and besides you don't have time to look at what other people are doing! I would NEVER EVER be able to push myself like I do at my classes. My first day I told the coach, "I do not run! If you see me running, you might want to run too, because there must be something chasing me!" Well, I still don't love running, but I have ran 1.7 miles (once) and surprise myself all the time at how great I can run. Then there is also rowing and weight floor exercises and you are constantly switching up what you are doing, and everything is so well planned, before you know it, you have had a GREAT 60 minute workout! Cost? Well, lets just put it this way.. first of all no contracts, so you can stop with 30 days notice. I started out unlimited, and it was $159 per month. That may sound like a lot, but ask yourself, ARE YOU WORTH IT?? It was a splurge for me, but I was worth it! And the payback of being in the best shape of my life, well that is just priceless!! Since I have actually gotten a couple pounds below my lowest goal, I lowered my contract to 2 times per week, at $99/mo, and that keeps me from losing all the muscle and strength I gained. Obviously this was the best decision I have made for myself in a long time and I am super super happy! You HAVE to make time for yourself! If you aren't healthy, or tired all the time, how can you help others? Don't they tell you in an airplane if the oxygen masks come down, put yours on first, and then you can help others? I hope if you are reading this, you give this club a try. I really never thought I could do something like this, but I could, and so can you! Start at your own pace. I have been a member of Revitalize Fitness for the last couple years. I initially paid an upfront…read moreyear membership and then began paying month-to-month once that expired. A few months ago, I replace my credit card, which no longer allowed the automatic withdrawal. I have not been going to the gym (my bad) so I thought nothing of it until I got a letter from collections requesting $157.15 owed for the months I didn't pay after my credit card was replaced. I contacted Revitalize requesting a refund since I didn't go to the gym those months, and they essentially told me too bad, that I had a binding contract. I don't argue the contract, but I do argue good customer service versus poor customer service. Most businesses would waive that $157.15 with the hopes of keeping a customer for future services. But not Revitalize. Fortunately, gyms are like car washes...they are everywhere, so I will not be funding businesses they care more about a penny they good customer service.

I was pregnant and froze my account in June. My account was then charged in December without my…read morepermission of the freeze being lifted. I am unable to use the membership due to having a c section and medically unable to work out at this time. When I called about the freeze being lifted without my permission I was told to come in and cancel the membership and this would be taken care of for me because of the medical situation. When I went into the studio to cancel I was told by a staff member the owner was going to be talked to about waiving my final payment, and heard nothing further about it so I assumed it was all cleared up. Then I received text messages threatening me to send this to collections. This level of what many would view as predatory business practice especially to a postpartum woman has been an exceptional turnoff. Sending this to collections would net Cyclebar pennies of the proposed charge. I had high hopes for CycleBar and was planning on using it after my recovery but I can not in good faith use this service nor recommend it to others with the experience I had with staff members and upper management. This is all about making a quick buck to Cyclebar instead of having compassion for a postpartum women and doing what is right in the long term for their gym users. Under no circumstance will I be patronizing a gym with unclear terms, and zero communication skills between staff, management, and their customers. Unlike their more scrupulous competitors - like Orange Theory, which I attended regularly prior to the change in my condition, simply cancelled my membership without any issues or fees.

This gym is one of the best YMCAs I have ever used. It's not shiny and new, nor is it the largest, nor does it have the most equipment. But everything I used was in good working order and well laid out and easy to find and obviously these people care about their patrons. They let me enter without calling my home gym to verify me and I appreciate the trust. Just a really great bunch of people. I even had a long extended conversation with the guy at the front desk about how he used to live in Buffalo on the west side and how it has changed over the years. He hasn't been back in decades. I had just driven from Buffalo that very night. They open up at 4:30 in the morning which is excellent. They have some cute show offy girls working out here, wearing outfits that are against the rules, and that you would not see in my home gym. That was pretty awesome actually. And there are always staff members on the floor who know everybody by name ready to help out. They don't know me by name of course. But maybe they will, after this review. Now I think this gym is great, but I have to go and do something even greater. Or should I say, someone.
