A few weeks ago, a big truck hauling rocks and gravel that did not have its load tied down, broke…read moremy windshield. After doing some research and reading a lot of reviews, I decided to have my windshield replaced by Glass Monkey, which is conveniently located near the Boise Costco. Never having had as much as a rock chip repair, I had all kinds of questions about the process. Nicole went above and beyond in answering them, as well as scheduling my service. Originally, I wanted OEM glass, but due to a cyber attack on June 19, the ability to order parts via dealerships with an ETA came to a standstill. Because the crack was significant and in my line of vision, I was not comfortable with the idea of waiting up to 6 months or longer to have my windshield replaced. So, I went with OEE. Nicole assured me that my new windshield would be every bit as good as the original. I took her at her word, but I was nervous because I had read online reviews about people getting windshield replacements at other businesses which were not up to par with the original. I also know visual distortions can put you at risk for accidents while driving. I'm Type A when it comes to my vision. That includes my ability to see clearly through my windshield. I drive around with a roll of paper towels and a full can of Sprayway Glass Cleaner in my trunk. If anyone can tell the difference between an OEM and an OEE windshield, it will be me. I can tell no difference between my OEM windshield and my new OEE windshield. I couldn't be happier with the service I received at Glass Monkey.
