Family was making table centerpeices a few hours prior and staff were on site but no help. I am not much of a wedding venue expert, but ... I just expect more from a very expensive country club than pay us, here's the venue... good luck. As part of the wedding party we were at the venue starting at like 1pm for a 5pm wedding and i just didn't really see anyone from the venue much. I would just think they'd have more of an interest in the wedding going smoothly, but ... again, I'm not a wedding venue expert. The venue itself was fine, outdoor bar was cool. The beauty I think came from the table-scapes, which was designed by the bride and put together by the family, again, why I give 4 stars. Reception was fine... put on by the venue. Room was really nothing special, not decorated or anything pretty. The food was good. The bar was tiny and in the back, hard to get to when there's a decent amount of people. Overall, I think they could have done more, been more present and really went above and beyond, which... from my perspective they didn't.

This is a nice country club although bit cramped for large events in terms of parking. I think you can find this in most local Central Ohio country clubs as they only have so much space. Everyone is coming and they don't realize country clubs don't hold that much space for guests in terms of parking. I guess I will have to come back to try Cimi's Bistro. Each of the cabins had a game table, fire pit and a hot tub so there was plenty to do in the cabins at night. The cabins were clean, well furnished and had most of the kitchen items we needed during our stay. We stayed in Jackson but most of the full group activities were in Rush Creek, both were perfect for our needs. We had one small AC issue in Jackson and the staff responded promptly and fixed it right away. The bed i slept in was heavenly and I got great sleep each night. Im an early riser so it was nice to have a little path off the back of our cabin, I went for a short hike and happened upon a beautiful wedding venue and some small gardens. Overall great experience and will be returning!
