While we did have a wonderful experience with the items we did get, I'm docking them a star because twice we ordered square plates and twice they didn't have them. In regards to the square plates I think they could have handled it better, otherwise they were wonderful to deal with! We came in with some ideas, the went in back and came out and created a demo set up right on the spot. They helped us tweak it until it was amazing. They told us exactly what dimensions of things like tables and chairs they needed to make sure everything would fit properly. We went back to the venue, tape measure and camera in hand and documented everything. We learned that in this case, a picture was worth the trip. We were able to show exactly the shape of the chair backs to get the right covers. As with every wedding, things change. Our counts changed, we figured out that we needed a coffee pot for the day after, we added a couple of accessory tables, simple things like that. The people at Personal Touch handled it with ease and updated the contract with every change order. Incredibly professional, understanding, and friendly. On the Friday before the wedding, I picked everything up at the time they said it would be ready. When our friends unpacked everything to set up, we had everything we ordered and nothing extra. Everything was clean, pressed, and ready for display. On the business side, we had looked at other rental places and Personal Touch was by far the most cost effective, making the value we received exceptional. We could not have been happier.

I just attended my grandson's wedding at the Chalet. It was such a lovely time. Everything was…read morebeautiful! The wedding took place outside on the patio. There is a beautiful gazebo attached to the hall where the reception was going to be held. It was decorated with little lights and flowers and crystal beads hanging from the ceiling. I'm really not doing a good job describing just how pretty it was. The staff was amazing and the food was hot and delicious. The hall was big enough for all of us. Since my grandson was paying for this himself, he kept the guest at around 50 people. There was plenty of room so that you weren't banging chairs trying to get up from the table. There was plenty of room for dancing. Everyone had a great time. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend this venue for any kind of celebration. The Chalet sits on a little lake, and that just made for some lovely pictures. I can't say enough good things about this place. You have to see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
