Great beers (the pawpaw beer was fantastic), amazing, social setting was conducive to lots of hangout and the bartender was very friendly with Great suggestions. The best kept secret is theur BBQ food truck on site. Highly recommend the pull pork Sammy with spicy BBQ sauce.

We specifically went to hear a band on a Saturday night. The place was packed and the music was loud. We ended up parking across the street in an additional parking lot. The food was a barbecue truck outside and we chose not to order because it was so hard to get a seat. Order your drinks at the bar because there isn't a wait staff to take your order. My advice is to come early to get a seat on the main floor. We had to climb the steps upstairs to a loft area to sit. Neat venue.

Beautiful location and grounds! So glad we got to check it out during the beautiful fall season. Service was super friendly and quick. Good amount of options for beverages and well priced! Also, a very dog friendly place which is always a plus. Would love to come back with our dogs next time. I do wish their website was more updated on their food options. We were under the impression they had pizza, but looks like with new ownership that might have changed now? They had a BBQ option there which was nice, but wasn't sure if this was regular or rotates out? Info like that would be really helpful for visitors!

This is a nice place to come if you have a MANLY man and a girl who likes wine or visa versa. Going to a place that has good beer AND good wine is rare They have many beer choices and they also have wine!! That's a win However - they have no "food". They do have "snacks" like chips and stuff

    Nice, spacious outdoor area!

It's been a hot minute since we've been out to Rockmill in Lancaster. (think pre pandemic). We were camping out at A.W. Marion State Park and thought why not knock off some of the CBus Ale Trail. We sat outside, as we had our dog with us. Rockmill provided a dog dish for our four legged kid. This was the first time we've been out to Rockmill since the expansion/the pandemic. We'll definitely head south from Columbus again soon. The pizza was a delight. Pizza sauce was a pizza sauce (meaning that it hadn't been can cooked prior to being added to the crust). We had the burrata (burrata, basil, and a San Marzano sauce). Paired well with the glass of rosé grenache I had. Charcuterie was nice but there was no explanation as to what the cheeses or meats were. I sorted out that one was a prosciutto (heavily smoked). There was what seemed like pickled jicama on the plate as well. (It did make me miss the charcuterie/breads & fats at Rockmill Tavern in Columbus. Fingers crossed they reopen!!

Giving this a two because the outside sitting was amazing. The IPA they had was horrible and I poured it out. Come to find out the place is in foreclosure and will be closing soon. As someone at another brewery suggested the beer may have been horrible as they have not made any fresh beer lately. Hope someone buys the place and does something wonderful, as it is beautiful and set in the woods.

Another review for me on Rockmill. My first review for Rockmill was a few years ago, but had been back to Rockmill over the last few years. The brewery is built on acres of a horse farm. The location of the new tasting room ( since the last time I was there) is on the right when you pull in to the lot. There is more parking across the street. The tasting room has large windows which gives lots of natural light. There are a variety of tables to accommodate different size of groups. The bar area is nice. The fireplace is a nice touch. Beer flights are available, which was a great way to try a variety of beers. There are tasty light beers. The salted chocolate chip pistachio cookie was delicious. Colin our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers being offered.

What a fantastic hidden gem. This place definitely has that wow factor. The entire place is amazing. Service is spot on and the food is super yum. How can you go wrong with a wood pizza oven and some of the best beer around. Go you will not regret it.

Stopped here as it was on the ale trail list. Overall a very nice venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was very friendly, this establishment has food so we opted to try the wood fired pizza. We ordered a standard pepperoni. Overall it was a good pizza, could have used a few more slices of pepperoni as it was placed sparingly atop the wood fired crust. Overall a nice hangout spot, I would eat before or after as I think you can get a better value elsewhere.

Okay, as a whole I love this Brewery. The grounds are amazing and it just feels like they've dealt out in the work to make the space amazing. We ended up sitting outside with our friends by the heater and it kept us decently warm. Not really my first choice since it was drizzly but I didn't choose the seating. There is plenty of outside seating as well as a nice overhang. We brought our pup as well. Big win for dog friendly. The bar service was good. We had to go inside to order but it was quick and they brought our food outside. I got a sour and enjoyed it and also a pizza. Pepperoni one that I added mushrooms. It was good, nothing to write home about but very much good bar food. My group however was not a fan of the popcorn. All in all, a great place to hang with friends!

Pizza and cookies. Peppers and Parmesan.

Y'all. Listen. Don't come here for the beer, which is amazing. Don't come here for the wood fired pizza, which is amazing!!! Come here for the bourbon molasses snap cookie!!!! Wow. It is so chewy and delicious with a nice bite of ginger! The beers were all delicious, the petite saison was my favorite. The peppers and Parmesan was super delicious and spicy due to the chili peppers! The baked goods are maid by _cloudery on Instagram and they are top of line for us. We had a few beers, a couple of pizzas, but the cookies and brownies were to die for! The special today was a three cheese lobster pizza - everyone was getting it around us. We will definitely be back to try the remainder of the beers on the list. Wow!

Rockmill Brewery was our first restaurant in-dining experience since Covid began. They have very expansive grounds so it is fairly easy to maintain social distancing. We had gone there with a bunch of friends and I highly recommend it. They have a variety of local beers, which were quite good. They also have a "farm menu", which was quite good I thought. Excellent service, Lovely location (although a bit far from us), and good food. Just make sure to tell them that you'd like an extended reservation when you book otherwise you may have to give up your table :), which happened to us, but it was fine, because we just brought chairs and sat in a separate location and they still served us.

Today was our first time back at Rockmill in several years and we finally got to experience the new taproom! The new building is gorgeous, there's plenty of tables indoors and outdoors as well as seats at the bar. The property is dog friendly which is probably my favorite part! You can also keep your tab open if you go from the farmhouse to the taproom, so you definitely can roam around while you enjoy your beer or wine. The taproom now offers a good menu with amazing brick oven fired pizzas. Get the ribeye pizza, you won't regret it! So happy to see one of our favorite spots is thriving.

Definitely a privileged problem to have, but I'm here to say you should save Da Que in your phone or old school memory bank. Because the diverse selection of smoked meats as sandwichs or platters at Da Que are worth the stop. It sits just a mile or so off 33 and isn't visible from the road. In fact no commercial establishments make you assume it is a farms only exit. But get off the road for a quick stop. Four of us getting out of Columbus before rush hour stopped for a late lunch and were glad we did. Pulled pork, brisket, chicken all available as sandwiches and range of sides including slaw, baked beans, mac and cheese and cheesy potatoes. Next time I'm going to be brave and try the brisket and mac and cheese burrito! The pitmaster was on the register and kept apologizing for being out of his element as he struggled to find the right buttons to push on the register. But honestly good fun to laugh with him as we all outside our lanes as we were still decked out in formal conference attire. But our common love for smoked anything and everything was the common thread. And I haven't done it but clearly catering is a core dimension of their business. Located in Fairfield County south of Columbus, I'm guessing they'd travel to reach quite a few locales.

As I recall, we had the beef brisket, the wings, and of course the pork ribs. (Like Eve, my wife wouldn't consider it the real experience without ribs!) The meat was already so perfectly seasoned that I almost hated to put any barbecue sauce on it. So good! That's about the highest compliment I can imagine giving any place. That's not to say their barbecue sauce wasn't also delicious--it's great! They actually have a whole range of different styles of sauces. Do what we did, dine in and sample the whole sauce lineup. My wife also gave them her highest compliment: While we were eating, she said something like, "This may be the best barbecue I've ever tasted." My wife has become a real barbecue connoisseur, with strong opinions on different barbecue places; coming from her, this means a lot. My wife's final tip: Skip the wings, go straight for the real meats! --Edit: My wife corrects my memory, I was remembering her review of the wings at a different barbecue place. She says the wings at Bob's were also excellent.

I had to drown mine in ketchup and take a drink of water with each bite to swallow. The macaroni and cheese was definitely plastic-y in consistency and taste which again needed ketchup. The corn casserole was super eggy and if you're thinking that old school sweet version, this ain't it. The only bright spot were the cheese potatoes which were really good. Good enough to come back for? No but that's definitely the side I would choose. Oh and size of sides compared to price was definitely no value when you're buying sides to try in addition to your meal. Order was late and tasted like it had been sitting. We're no longer hangry but sadly just angry after all that.
