Jen has done an amazing job of capturing intimate moments that we don't usually have an opportunity to witness from the outside looking in. Booking Jen for the birth of our son was the best decision we made. From the first email until the the end she was a sweetheart and very professional! She always answered my email, text or calls in a timely manner, always had great advice and recommendations. The day of delivery she arrived to the hospital with plenty of time to take awesome shot of the family member that were there to support me. Once it was time to push she not only captured AMAZING shots but I also remember her encouraging me to push although we didn't hire her as doula (due to short on funds) she still helped me through out the whole delivery. Using Jen to document my family since my daughters birth has been the best decision!! I first hired her to document my babies birth, she made me feel so comfortable and you could tell it meant a lot to her to be a part of it! She is extremely profession and compassionate! From there she did my fresh 48(due to the fact she couldn't film my birth due to an emergency c-section), newborn photos in my home and my daughters baptism! I have her also lined up to do my daughters cake smash for her first birthday. She is amazing at what she does and you can tell it is her passion. She checks in a few times before events, especially births, to make sure you are comfortable and that everything is going as planned. I am so thrilled I decided to hire Jen for my birth photos! She called to speak with me on multiple occasions before the birth to make sure I was comfortable with having her in the room and to discuss the kinds of photos I wanted to have. She went beyond my expectations. I called her as I was heading to the hospital and she arrived as I was 5cm dilated. She left home at 3am to be at my birth, all while pregnant herself! During the delivery she gave us extra insight into what was going on (since this was our first baby) and she has training as a doula. She made us feel completely comfortable, even my husband who gets shy in front of the camera. Besides all that, the photos turned out beautifully. I could not have asked for more. She sent me 5-10 edited pictures before she even left the hospital so I could share them with family and friends. I'm also a videographer and she got a few video clips for me too. A few months after I also hired Jen for a Christmas mini session, and she will be photographing a family session when our son turns one, as well as photographing his birthday party! I usually always shake my head with disagreement when my sister hires professional photographers to capture big moments. I felt it was too invasive and over the top. However, I met Jen and she shot my sisters birth. I was extremely surprised and satisfied with how professional and efficient she is. She was a ghost for the big personal stuff and a kid pro with the toddler and newborn to get the images my sister so badly wanted. The photos turned out amazing and the turn around was very quick. It's hard to even put into words how much I love our photos and video from our daughter's birth. The truly mean so much to me. This was our fourth baby and I realized from the first three how little pictures I ended up with from the day. I mean who wants to think about taking pictures when you're delivering a baby! But it's such a special day that being able to have it documented and tell the story of the day is priceless. That's why hiring Jen was the best decision ever! Jen did an amazing job of capturing all the big moments and in between moments. Moments with our kids that I didn't even know were happening. The expressions and little details that she captured were perfect. She was calm and friendly and even though we had hadn't met in person before that day she was very comfortable to have around. During the actually delivery she was like a fly on the wall. You wouldn't even know she was there. She even sent me several pictures that same day so that I could share them with friends and family. Also the video that she put together is AMAZING!! I have watched it a countless number of times and it makes me so happy. There is something about seeing certain things like my husband tickling my three year old and seeing his laugh, or me casually talking to my doctor and most importantly my babies first cry. I know it will be special to us forever. Jen also took our newborn pictures and did such a great job. It's not easy to photography a family with 4 little kids but she was patient and pulled out all the tricks for our three year old.
