This review is long overdue, but I would 100% recommend Sonia's business. Back in April 2020, when everything was shut down during covid, my grandma got the bad news that her cancer had metastasized to her bones and brain and she was going to switch to in-home hospice instead of further treatment. My mom had been engaged to her BF for a while, and when they heard that I was driving in to see my grandma one last time they decided to do a mini wedding so my grandma could be at my mom's wedding like they both always wanted. Sonia had great reviews and responded really quickly. I told her everybody would be masked, and we were going to be outdoor and distanced and she respected the precautions we wanted to take (the last thing my grandma needed was covid, on top of everything). Sonia was on time and really professional. She helped up to capture a really bittersweet moment for my family, and I'm so so glad we have the pictures she took. There's this one candid shot in particular where my mom is smiling at her now husband and my grandma is watching and smiling at how happy my mom is. They're really important pictures to me. I had only seen this being in the area and then remembered the studio was there when I needed some professional head shots done. I did reach out to another photographer who never responded and not only did Sonia respond but did so within a very short period of time. The shoot was professional, the space they had to offer nice as most photographers don't really have studios anymore. They were patient and accommodating with my changes of clothing with lots of background options and poses. Of course we are our own worst critiques and while I knew the pictures were well done, I didn't have much hope that I would personally find them great. I waded through the numerous shots they took which was a nice choice and they were so patient as I kept weeding them down to the prescribed number of photos. What I got back exceeded my expectations! Enough photo shop done to smooth out some things, but kept the integrity of the photo and I haven't looked that good in 10 years! I found Sonia Stewart through Google. I did a search for a photographer for my newborn son. After seeing other photographers work and reviews I decided to go with Sonia. Sonia has a comfortable studio where she has plenty of props for the shoot of your choice. Our shoot lasted about an hour and a half and she took priceless pictures of my fiancé, newborn son and I. She is very professional and sat down with us as we went over the proofs of what pictures we were going to go with. Sonia gave us a two week ETA and delivered the pictures right on time. You get what you pay for has never been more true!Photo editing isn't the best, if you ask her to fix the editing on your photos you get a condescending response. I gave this place 2 chances the first time we went in for family photos my husband looked like he had lipstick on after editing lol my hair looked terrible (something simple a true photographer could have asked you to fix) second time I went in for portraits I asked for my editing to be changed due to the photo looking way too edited and smooth I like a more natural aesthetic, her response wasn't too professional. Telling your customer "your makeup was too cakey" isn't a professional response. I don't wear heavy makeup so I know that wasn't a factor. If you want good quality photos I recommend a photographer with a passion. This place isn't it. read more

Sonia is an amazing photographer. She has captured our family Christmas Card twice now and both times the results were fabulous! The photos are fun, artistic and professional.
