After I called the surf shop to advise them that there was no instructor at the meeting location, I was told who we were supposed to have as an instructor apparently "had a mixup in his schedule" is what the young lady said when calling. This isn't the first time this has happened. When we did this last year same situation of a schedule mixup. The young gentleman at the shop where you pick up your wetsuits are very pleasant and helpful. I was later called by one of the managers to let me know that they were refunding for the full cost of the lesson and that we would still get our lesson. They said they were refunding to apologize for the inconvenience of waiting over 30 minutes past our lesson time for an instructor to arrive.

Its sad because I really tried to give Mike every opportunity to do the right thing. I guess you can't do business with a good ole fashion hand shake anymore. At least with Mike you can't.
